@iLovePrincessDiana36 dearest loveprincessdi, charles has no choice but to remain married to Camilla due to public opinion - he did not love Camilla enough to marry her in the beginning..he's only attracted to people who belong to someone else - thats what an adulterer is...God is his final judge though I realize that...JFK was no better..these people use their power and status to use and manipulate others for their own selfish reasons...nobody likes or respects an adulterer though..
@dwarflover63 Diana was used as a broodmare and Camilla is just a damned horse! Indeed, Charles is a "horse person" that's why he was shagging one throughout his marriage to Diana. Revolting and so are your comments!
@dwarflover63 You really need to stop trying to orchestrate all this as if it was a pile of paperwork. There were emotions involved, lives involved, children involved, lies, broken promises, cruelty and so much more. You cannot over-simplify it as you are attempting to do in one short paragraph. You are leaving out so much.
i have read several books on Princess Diana, I read that the cameramen and paparazzi used to call out to her as "Bitch" C*** and all sorts of nasty names to make her look up in despair so that they could photograph her like that. disgusting
Diana touched so many lives and she is one of my heroes of the past and a good role model. I wish I could have met her before she died. ;_; Sometimes, I imagine an image of her as a ghost giving her friends and family one FINAL kiss before turning around and going to Heaven, just like the kiss Patrick Swayze gave to Demi Moore in "Ghost". Also, I'd like to add the famous words from "Forrest Gump", "If there's anything you need, I won't be far away."
@Vegheadsrock no i dont think its a conspiracy, i think the queen was happy that she passed away. But i think if she wore her seatbelt she would b alive
What amazed me was she did her duties for so long even with her health and marriage declining. The age gap was big..she wanted to have fun while Charles had an older group of friends.
@anaclet remember she was also 19 years old. she was still a teenage girl, marrying a grown man. who she really didn't have anything in common with. and the press was right there in her face.
@tranurse She did not have to marry him. She wanted to be queen and he needed an heir. She knew he wanted Camilla already. He wanted Camilla when he was very young. Never mind looks. That is the one he wanted and Diana knew it. Royals would not let him have that one because she was divorced. I guess Di thought her youth and beauty would win him over but it never did. She should have went for love instead of fairy tales and she would be alive today but who could blame her.
I think the telling point is the fact that Diana was not afforded the protection from the Palace early enough on, she received no training and very little support to help her figure out her job. Yes, she was young and inexperienced, but even though she was able to do an amazing job publicly, she fell apart in private. Charles got jealous of the attention she was getting and responded childishly, and she lashed out at him. So yes, any sane girl of 19 would be overwhelmed in her position.
Also, Diana never believed anyone loved her, it wasn't just Charles, it was also her parents, boyfriends, etc. The girl obviously had issues and would have been a challenge for any man to be married to. Please don't put all the blame on Prince Charles and the Royal Family, it just isn't fair.
At first you would think yes she's weak. She was the best royal for me who has a personal warmth with people. When she got lots of experience and grew up, she became strong and dedicated to her work. She never to be queen even when Charles was proposing she thought she would never be queen but she has a role to fulfill. She thought that she would have Charles support but then she said during marriage " She felt inadequate in every way".
@1992ruthie It's been reported that she would engage in these 'feel-good' exercises only when there were cameras present. The chick definitely knew how to work a crowd.
@FrauKaulitz1 I agree. She was too young and the RF gave her no assistance or advice to aid her. She was so beautiful, she deserved happiness and not the emasculated thing she married. I still cannot believe he preferred Camilla and that Camilla didn't have the class to leave these two alone after marriage. Now she's to be our next Queen? God save us from Camilla!!
@mangore623 There's a much better chance for someone to be stronger and much less vulnerable when they're older. She was just 19 - a teenager. If she were 23-25 I think she would have been much more mature and she wouldn't have needed so much help when she came to the royal family.
the truth is Charles was fornicating with married/unmmarried women for years and didn't have a faithful bone in his body...

@FinCups- He's been faithful to Camilla, whom he loves. He didn't love Diana, that's why he wasn't faithful to her.

I love how instead of conversing with the upper class women around her, she talks to the little boy sitting on the grass.

@1992ruthie The little boy on the grass was certainly a child of one of those upper class ladies

@FrauKaulitz1 How old does a person have to be before they're no longer weak and ineffectual? No one was forcing a gun to her head to marry Charles.
