These are the greatest things ever they really are....right up until you realize the glove absorbed a boiling hot liquid. Then you get to burn both hands trying to get the glove off. I know the new one is steam proof but they really need to be waterproof too

Forget the ability to pick up hot objects without burning yourself, I'm more interested in the Ove Glove's magical skill that allows you to lift a metal tray (complete with a chicken and vegetable dinner) one-handed. I mean, it seemed like this person only had one Ove Glove on, and the tray is obviously too hot for a regular oven mitt to hold, let alone a human hand, so obviously the Ove Glove can strengthen a person's hand strength.

Notice that she drops it the first time,this was not because she is using an inferior glove, but because she used one hand instead of two.

When they show the Ove glove version, the scene abruptly ends before she even slightly picks it up! Why? Because the result would have been the same, you need to use TWO HANDS.

I got an ove glove for christmas. I really like it but I normally wouldn't have bought it for myself because it's expensive and you can practically do the same thing with normal oven mits. It's great for most things but sometimes things from the grill are still too hot to pick up.

You can use it to stir the fire from three feet away using a fire poker. Because gods know you couldn't use a tool designed to work with a fireplace safely without another tool.

Actually any decent work glove should let you stir that kind of coals by hand, they don't conduct heat very well. This is like an anti-add.
