I remember last February 2011 my dad past way in front of me after being sick for a long time, im happy that he is in no more pain but when your 14 and lose your dad it is really hard.

As time passed on my dad got very sick because he worked with chemicals at some company. My dad soon wanted to hang and be with me a lot of the time hated it.

@xdvo93 I think it would be a good idea to talk to the other people in your family about your fears, worries, and anger. If your family is not receptive there are surely many community resources near where you live where you can find counselling to help you deal with all of the emotions that you are going through. Sometimes all it takes is someone to listen to your story and you begin to feel better about things.
I lost my dad 8 years ago June 12th when I was 14. He was diagnosed with esophageal cancer in November the year before. He lived for 6 months, and passed away. Still to this day just thinking about seeing him laying in my mothers arms just breaks my heart. I ended up going down a bad path of drugs and alcohol abuse and even ended up in jail a few times. I've learned to deal with my emotions better now, but it still is extremely hard to lose anyone close. Just talk. It helps.....

I was a wreck for awhile and now i am slowly getting to a place of peace. Sorry about your dad's passing and all the other posters family members who passed. I hope the healing has begun with you. My dad just died on the 7th of of this month. 2010. It was a big shock because he was in such good health. He got a tear in his aorta that ripped to his groin on the 4th of Sept 2010. He was flown to Omaha Nebraska and they performed surgery on him that night. He lived from Saturday untill that Tuesday morning. I just got engaged last month, he was so excited to finally have his son. He was an amazing father/person. I love him so much..still healing from the loss. I'm 20. I'm sorry for your loss

No matter how you feel, there are things to live for. These feelings will pass. What you need to do is let them run their course and gradually things will get better. Just hang tough. If you have problems maybe getting some counselling is a good idea. Though it won't make the feelings go away, it will make them easier to manage. You are feeling depression and it will go away with time...
There are some things that I just don't joke about. This was one of them. It's all good. There is no longer any pain and the memories are fond ones. My dad would have wanted it this way... Thanks for the hug.

No matter how you feel, there are things to live for. These feelings will pass. What you need to do is let them run their course and gradually things will get better. Just hang tough. If you have problems maybe getting some counselling is a good idea. Though it won't make the feelings go away, it will make them easier to manage. You are feeling depression and it will go away with time...

We made plans how we would've spend christmas and new years together, but I guess that was too much to ask for. It is too much to handle. I can't yet handle it...
