  • Gotta love gun games, do you know if the ps3 sensors for tc4 will work with a guncon 2 mate just want to play my tc and point blank games :)

  • @indydaisy1 I don't think they will sadly since they are two different technologies. Best thing to do really is grab a CRT and a guncon 2.

  • Damn this looks great, heading down to my storage unit to get my PS version :-D thanks for posting.

  • Very nice pick up there!!! looks great. What I did with my Ridge Racer 2 pcb is I removed that AC fan and went down to the computer store and picked up a 12v fan and spliced that into the JAMMA harness, I totally recommend it, cheap and works great :D. Nice wiring set up on that step plate. Yeah, much better than the ps, I assume that is running at 64 frames/sec or better? Looks awesome, love that `Action`, `Reload`, such fun to be had there

  • @lukemorse1 I was thinking of replacing it with a 12v fan, but then I wanted to add a 24v PSU to it which would use AC, but then I might just add it to the cab. Yep, 60fps interlaced awesomeness, in stereo too ^_^

    Thanks man -_^

  • Lol, I must admit when I was digging out stuff people had shoved into my old Enduro Racer machine, I found loads of weird stuff, like a can of Corona :D rusted to hell, but it was a surprise.

  • @LarryBundyJr The things people do to these machines is disgusting, though I did find an old style Kit Kat wrapper under the seat cushion in amongst the old coke/soft drink/piss which was nostalgic -_^

  • @RetroRepair Oh, it's a legal requirement to find at least one Kit Kat wrapper shoved in one. Though a Cheese and Onion crisp bag & the silver foil from Wrigley's chewing gum is also acceptable.

But I've heard of people finding skeletons of mice in their larger machines!

  • @LarryBundyJr Yeah, a friend just got a House of the Dead SD (bastard!) which had a mouse skeleton in the cage!! How he got in there we've no idea but I guess he found a fairly respectable final resting place!

  • @RetroRepair Eugh, Still I suppose it depends on the arcade it lived in. it's when you start finding used condoms stuffed down the back you really need to get the bleach out :D

  • @LarryBundyJr Well living in Essex it's not outside the realm of possibility! >.<

  • @RetroRepair Oh, my Hero Turtles machine, I found Lego pieces lodged in the coin drawer :S

  • @LarryBundyJr Hahaha Lego?! Who lets their kid take Lego out to an arcade? Did you get the buttons sorted in the end? I saw someone on KLOV had a complete button set for TMNT but it was sold by the time I saw it.

You should do a video on your setup, would be cool to see what you got going on there -_^

  • @RetroRepair I just can't find purple leaf switch buttons sadly. Though I've seen photos and they're black looking.

But I've had nothing but problems finding decent Blue and black ones.

  • @LarryBundyJr Looking on Google images there's black and purple buttons on those machines. Have yu tried KLOV forums? I know there'll be guys there who know where to get them or better yet, will have some spare. What was wrong with yours again?

  • @RetroRepair KLOV? Can you PM me a link pls?

  • PM incomming

  • Cool you had an Enduro Racer btw. All I can remember of that game is "Eeeeeeeeeeeeee!" >.<

  • @RetroRepair Strangest thing is it's the exact same machine I used to play on as a kid on my holidays in Scratby/Great Yarmouth. I know that as I scratched my initials in it when I was eight :D

I'm really after a twin Daytona ATM, just a combination of money and space in inhibit me ATM.

  • @LarryBundyJr Awesome! I have an MKII I played on in my local arcade but a whole machine must be magic ^_^

Yeah Daytona machines are MASSIVE but oh so much fun. Twins are awesome but if you split them they are much more house friendly. I've MAME'd this one (well, MAME and M2 emu) and it's spot on. Got FFB and everything, just need to find a new belt for the FFB motor. Looking for a handbrake now for when Sega Rally 2 is properly emulated.

  • @RetroRepair Well it's nice as it's like an old friend! But it was total luck that I got it, While it's not my favourite game int he world, it's good as it's not too well known and there's never been a decent port of the game.

What game have you got in that cab out of curiosity? I see a Daytona 2 poster on the side :D

  • @LarryBundyJr It's got a PC in it. It started life as a Touring Car then was converted to D2 but now plays them all (at least it will when Bart releases the new Supermodel emu).

  • audio! :D

  • @SandyStarchild Yeah I've reinstalled my system so it was outputting the wrong audio codec. Doh!

  • that's some dedication to the game :)

    Nice work!

  • @MoreDakka101 Thanks man ^_^
