Listen just because you like Honda or DSM or V8's or whatever, does not give you the right to talk shit about another. Honda has its advantages over dsm and any other type of automobile. DSM's were designed with racing in mind, honda's were designed with grocery getting in mind. However Honda's do have a very ideal advantage over DSMs. I'm a DSM guy to the point. But I know the facts about specific vehicles, mainly the two in question here. Happy Motoring!

7 bolts made 210 crank hp 195awhp a prelude makes 200whp and wieghs almost the same. I have never once in my life been walked or beaten by a h22 prelude nor have i ever been beaten by any honda. H22's k20's what have you have no advantage this is why jon shepard does a 7 second 1/4 mile time fast awd in a 1/4. WIth a rwd converstion makes a 6 second 1/4 pass i've never even seen a nsx do that. So please enligthen me.

this is a 92 talon. aka 6bolt motor, 4 bolt rear end, assuming its a tsi awd. 195hp at the crank @ 8-10psi. which is stock boost levels. were not taling about built this and built that. were taling about these stock cars. i know two civics with fully built dart engines that run 9 second 1/4 mile times fwd not on slicks. im sure if they were awd thats a different story. not to mention those civics arent stock and are 1.8's. were talking stock for stock. not built.

I'm a DSM Guy, H22 motor is no Joke! I have a 561bhp AWD Talon so I know power. Stock H22 Vs Stock 4g63 FWD, H22 would walk it unfortunately. Hondas have higher end and longer RPM range. But get that Stock AWD 4g63 to race that honda from a dig! :D Honda wont touch the DSM!

I've owned 6 dsms. currently own a talon that has been built, blown up built again and raced more than i can remember. ive put down numbers in the 500hp range. ive also owned hondas including an h22 vtec honda accord. stock 4g63 vs stock h22, h22 will put out more power and range a higher rpm. so in a race from a roll, a h22 honda vs a stock dsm, the dsm is not such a bad ass. ive seen sti and dsms lose left and right to h22 hondas. dont talk shit till you know for a fact. i do!

Stock DSM redlines at 7200rpm, Honda's are easily capable of 10000rpm! Stock H22 has more HP than a stock 4g63 at sea level. Do the math. What I'm smoking? Kid?
