The word used in this film for God in Hebrew is ILLAH, now the term ILLAH means ALLAH in Arabic or God in English!

God isnt the correct term to use for the Almighty because you can fiddle about with the word God by either putting ESS at the end and that will give gender to HIM(GODESS) etc. Thats why Muslims prefer to use the term ALLAH because even in Arabic language you cannot mess about with the word!

Yes but that didnt answer the question i put forward to you, which was what makes him more real than any of the other "gods"? There is very little evidence to the existence of any god besides age old text that nobody can prove isnt just made up because it gives no sources and no other historical texts refer to Jesus even though he was such a supposed prominant figure of the time.

There's actually more historical evidence that Jesus existed than for any other person, certainly at that time! It wasn't just Matthew, Mark, Luke and John who wrote about him. Plenty of historians of the time mention him and they weren't Christians so they had no particular reason to "promote" him.

There's also a lot of evidence for the resurrection of Jesus. Do some research.

Sure! "Whose Bible is it? A Short History of the Scriptures" by Jaroslav Pelikan. It a history of how the Muslim, Jewish, and Christian Scriptures came into being. It is pretty unbiased. Also, "The Historical Figure of Jesus" by E.P. Sanders and "Jesus As a Figure in History: How Modern Historians View the Man from Galilee," by Mark Allen Powell. The first is a little biased. The last is a little better. I hope this helps. Keep me updated with what you think. I'd like to hear your opinions!

Whoa, ok firstly the bible makes no sense, Adam and Eve apparently started the human race, only two people! That means we are inbred! I've thought about that stuff too actually. Also the Green Man from Europe and other stories such as those (even some Hindu stories are similar). and when I say I've thought about that stuff, I literally mean thought, I haven't dug deeper than that. In my research I've mostly dealt with biblical archaeology and prophecy. So yes, there are some things I don't understand and wonder at the similarities from other cultures/religions.

Are you an archaeologist? I'm not criticizing, just wondering. I'm a soon to be archaeologist and do see many similarities between the Green Man, Osiris, the Greek God Attis, and others. But, as a historian, I understand that sometimes science fails you and you just have to go on faith. We haven't found everything yet. Who knows, we may find concrete evidence of Jesus and the Son of God. But, then, what would be the point? We wouldn't need faith.

As for the crucifixtion, as I said in the previous blurb, I don't know why Horus was crucified cuz I haven't delved into that (perhaps you could enlighten me :)), but it had been prophecied 1,000s of years before Christ came, and that was to become sin so we could stand before God sinless. For Christians, it has the purpose of entering into relationship with the living God. I guess I could sum it up by saying God died for me so I live for Him.

Genesis is just a book used to describe how God created life in a nutshell because actually one day for God is like thousands of years. There were other people around because Adam and Eve had 2 sons so even if they were inbred it takes a male and a female to reproduce...

If they wanted to right that they would have written seven ages which is a measurement for a extended period of time commonly used in the peroid. The problem today is that this book was written several thousand years ago and since then peoples perspectives and reading habits have changed thus takeing the bible literally rather than thinking it may be a metaphorical especially with the eden story which is open to many views.

People who take the bible literal are more than likely not educated. I can explain a lot of symbolism in the Creation Theory while still staying frue to God's Word. I simply want the truth, what the truth may be is of no concern to me. So if it turns out there is a god then fine and vice versa.
