This game is extremely broken and really feels rushed. It's a huge disappointment all around. But I'm surprised that you managed to take such an ill-fated game like this and actually make it look playable. Then again, that's probably exactly why they hire you to do these.

Blazblue and SF4 are better games. KoF12 was overhyped and did not deliver.

I'm sure people will disagree with me but it is just my personal opinion.

The speed of the game is slow and the cinematics a bit washed out. Not as vibrant as it could have been.

Due to the graphic engine, like SF3 and SF4, gameplay cant be as fast. Especially if its running @ 60 frames/sec.

I love King of Fighters. I played it back when it was called Fatal Fury which was released way back in 1991. I can't believe that the series has been around 18 years without a load of re-releases and upgrades shot out on the new consoles.

Fatal Fury ans King of Fighters are completely different series-es dude!

KOF just stars a few of the characters, like it stars characters from other SNK games like Art of Fighting Etc.

first Fatal Fury is subtitled "The King Of Fighters" and the opening to KoF94 mentions how they have had previous tournaments and they are changing the rules to have teams of 3.

While that is true, atlantaaintbraver, they are still both entirely different serieses, as evidenced by the fact there are fatal fury games that came out after king of fighter games. Most notably MoW and the real bout games.

Though, alot of snk games take place in the same universe so it's really just a mistake of wordings.

FF was rough and incredibly harder than SF2!!! I used to own the AES card, just no AES :(. Today that stuff is still expensive.

That didn't stop freaking gametrailers to put Garou:MotW (that is a KOF tournament in a Fatal Fury game like Fatal Fury 1) in the KOF series, when they did their top 10 fighting series...oh well

SNK released a way better KOF this year with 2002 Unlimited Match. What XII is lacking in presentation (a shame because Kof XII looks soooooo pretty *drool*) 2002UM is filled to the hilt with a remixed OST, new stages and characters. ^^

Very well worth importing it from Japan!!!

'King of Fighters 1998 Ultimate Match' & 'King of Fighters 2002 Unlimited Match' are much better overall that KOF 12.

The former two entries have tons of characters, a lot more moves per character, more game modes & actual end-boss fights.

Because KOF 12 lacked so much in terms of content, it was a bit disappointing.

But guess what? There's already a rumor out that SNK might be bringing 'King of Fighters 13' out this year 2010! LOL: didn't see that coming so soon!

It really has been an amazing year for fighting games. As a fanatic, I pretty much crapped my pants the other day, I couldn't believe they announced Super Street Fighter IV on top of all that goodness we've been given already.

It's really cool when a "dead" genre makes a hardcore comeback.
