@THEARMEDLIFE , that is not me in the video but I did have two mr2 turbos. You should check out mr2oc.com and mr2.com for local meets. I've been to a few local/regional meets with my mr2 and they are always a blast. We had a big meet in Topeka, KS back in 2005 with mr2s from all across the U.S. That was something else! Have fun with the car, it's like nothing else in the price range. I miss my two mr2s A LOT!!!

what you got...a MKII turbo..if so thats why your head is big....the MKII cant take a turn like a MKI.....the MKII weighs more and needs a turbo to be fast.......my blacktop can whip a stock na MKII any day......plus some most MKII came with powersteering....weak! all MKI even the GZE didnt have powersteering.....

I'm on my 3rd MKII now. Started in 98 with a 91 and I am hooked for life. There is no car like it in the world. The design is timeless and the size is just right. Unless you have driven one it is impossible to understand how well it handles.

I am shocked it ever got made and was actually affordable. The next cheapest mid engine car was the Acura NSX at around $90K.

Turbo MKIIs were around $27K while N/A were in the low $20Ks.

Do it again Toyota!

so lets say you go on a traditionnal drag, best outta 3 runs... your Fiero V6 3.8L Supercharged probebly woulnt get past the 1st run... with luck you MIGHT be able to put it on the line for the second run but... lets just say that the mr2 might just use the 2nd gear to smoke you cause the V6 of fiero was FULL of problems and it was as reliable as a square wheel. no no no, MR2 with its stock first a GT with its stock which is a 2.8 V6 natrually aspirated, the MR2 pulls away by maybe a second. If you drop the engine and put a 3800 serious 3.8 supercharched, that is putting up as much as the Third gen Firebird/Camaro V8s. 250 hp, the MR2 loses. the 3800 is one of the biggest V6 made.
