@BZCAPMOOR The modern day pothead is seen one way but is as varied as there are colors on the light spectrum (we cannot see the whole spectrum), the pothead you see having trouble forming words are a stereotype made by the mainstream media and Hollywood. If you have seen Pineapple Express, you will see the working of a few potheads in the hollywood "biz" (working outside the "biz") making a movie featuring potheads that have no problem forming a word or sentences.
I don't think he used cannabis. Just listen to a pothead in his age, they have a hard time matching two sentences. Has he also talked about the difference between psychodelics and the slave drugs, like heroine for instance?
