The thing is, I don't think Clara's health and the number of hits it takes to beat her would be as much of a problem if the technical game play (speed, aim, images not glitching and crossing through each other) was better.

...A lot better.

It took a long time but at least your fights with her were entertaining.

And finally, not that anyone cares, but I find it sad when people hate on Clara. It's not her fault she's got morning sickness!

There's an additional reason, beside gaining a lot more health items (and items that can be exchanged for health items) why you might want to start over---off camera---and do more searching this time. There's a secret door, in the area of the airship that has the gift box, that you failed to find so far. But you need the perfumes from the Sir Peter chapter in order to open this door in the Rag Princess Sews chapter (and that's where you get the gun that can be used as a weapon, too).

The item FAQ (google it or find the link under "Important Resources" on my blog) can help you find special items that you are unlikely to achieve in a totally blind play-through otherwise....such as the rusty sword (the best weapon possible in a first playthrough).

It's about getting proper appreciation for a very under-appreciated game. Playthroughs are often the only experience of a game that people have (certainly true for me with some games). In the case of Rule of Rose, every playthrough I've ever seen, including yours, misses important story points---for very good reasons. Not because you do a bad job. (continued)

But because a playthrough that searched thoroughly through the game would have a pace that really dragged. That's one reason I don't do a see-everything playthrough myself as a remedy (which I've been asked to do but think is a bad idea).

Your fresh experience and humor is fun. It is an enjoyable playthrough.the way you do it. But people won't have a clue about the depths of the story (with any playthrough) without a supplementary source. (cont'd).

Sorry for the tips about how to deal with your problems with the Mermaid boss, but you DID open the door by asking for exactly that in your video.

Yeah no its fine some people may find that useful and i didnt read it completely myself. I thought of a strategy to use so i could go against her with my own stuff. And you're right, its not possible to go throughly with this game and doing everything since theres so many finding requested. But this is a walkthrough to help solving the main story and plus this is done Blindly so i cant do everything. For other stuff theres, gamefaqs and blog like yours.
