When Britain built the RMS Queen Elizabeth, she was the biggest ship on earth, built by Britain, not Scotland, a real Country not repected by anybody now. The biggest ocean Liner ever built (yes still), and greatest ship the world has ever seen. Not this pathetic crap. What has happened. britain has been dumbed down.
Not built in Britain. Built in in a country who's labour rate is hugely higher than Britain's but due to past eu subsidy has ben able to invest in modern shipyard equipment. Britain should be ashamed of this. I am ashamed as a modern briton with huge ambition killed by politicians like prescott and blair who cared not. Now come the humiliation. it did not, and does not need to continue to happen.
Mixed emotions. One one hand, this will be the first time since the Saxonia-class that Cunard has had her own indigenous identical sisterships.
On the other hand, I am DEEPLY disappointed that the great name Queen Elizabeth should be assigned to a cookie-cutter design which has already been done by no less than 6 other ships currently in service! They're starting to look like airliners with names now... Thank GOD the QM2 was an original design, b/c we may not see that for a long long time.....

@greenseaships well my main gripe is she came out of a foreign yard and not a British one but thats another story.

Cool video..very nicely done.
I am no fan of Carnival's Cunard brand at all..but your video puts them in a much better might than Carnival ever could.
