Very elegant cast on! I am double knitting a headband and this cast on will look great. My question is how do you do the bind off in the same way so that both edges of the headband match? I look forward to hearing from you.
I so appreciate your clear and careful tutorial. Have been fascinated with your designs since you began your blog. Thank you for sharing. Your book will be a treasure.
thanks for this, fallingblox :^). Do you happen to know how to do a double knit ribbing instead of stockinette? I would like to have ribbing on both sides... I've not found any information on it, and can't figure it out, myself!
Excellent cast on method ,love it for double knitting AND reversible knitting - will share this web site with the class I am attending at the end of the month - if that's ok :)
Thank you for sharing this video! I found it very helpful and I don't think it was too slow (unlike some people!). It was just the right speed to watch it and do it at the same time. It was also a very clear explanation.
@FadeCrazy You act as if the comments are insults. They're not. They're constructive criticism...unless put in a rude manner. I also found the instructions to be too slow. My thinking was that if someone is trying to do a double-knit, most would probably have enough knitting experience to not have to be instructed in every step of the long-tail, especially as the vid states that it is just like the long-tail, thereby assuming the knitter knows what he's referring to.

Very nice, thank you so much! I've only just started to learn how to knit, so the timing of the video was perfect for me to follow along with you.

Sorry, I don't talk fast. I'm a country boy at heart. You can download it and watch it at double-time, if you like.
