Thanks for this contrubution. It explains somehat the importance of the flying wedges for maintaining lag. Still easier said dan done (for me) since clubface oftentimes closes too late when coming into the ball, resulting in pushed and sliced shots., Any drill for this problem ?

I don't think that hitters can use a sweep wrist. I think you need to employ a fixed right wrist.

irish get ur head out of the mud. Its all about TGM. Its the best instructional book out there. The author used the term wedge in the book. He had to define things that noone else knew how to describe. Now in the youtube age, there tons of TGM devotees that are describing these mechanisms on video There are even forums about TGM. Check it out.

@IrishLooLaa Every player has a different swing. Ok great post. Except most good players have many things in common. You don't have to go to a TGM instructor or read TGM, but don't make post professing that someone is a mental patient when I doubt you know at all what you are talking about. There are less than 300 of us, TGM AI's, but yet there are 40 plus in the top 100.

you mention 'when i was using a swinger pattern' - but never mention what swing or release you are using now.. :)

I use a 'hitter pattern' with an angled hinge and a random sweep release.

have been eating up your posts on WRX 3Jack. Where can I find more information on random sweep? I'm a 12 handicap hitter who is only finally understanding the 'why'. Feels like I'm close to a breakthru if I can hold the flying wedges and find a comfortable release..
