I know she means floor failures, but there's absolutely nothing in the universe that would set floor failure rate to clunkity clunk rate. The floor fails exactly when it's overloaded, no matter if it happens in 0.0000005 seconds or five minutes. It make her a "MORON". Like I showed, the tops is that train, taking on only light parts of the towers at once. Continued, you still haven't told me what equation would give you the acceleration of a floor in those circumstances. If you knew anything about the laws of physics you'd know how fast a floor should accelerate. Approximately. You'd also know F>R means an accelerating collapse, F=R means terminal velocity (in this case) and that F<R means a collapse that's slowing down. So which one is it, if F=50,000 and R=1,300.

How fast can 50,000t moving at 20km/h accelerate 1,300t?, although that's not the weight of the floor, regardless, the energy in 50,000t at that speed could accelerate 1,300t by 580 m/s. Of course it won't because it will be moving at the same speed in less than a fraction of a second. There was no MAGICAL lack of energy in the collapse. In the collapse it only took on light pieces at once.

Gravity is a constant, the forces tearing the building down weren't. Just like the race car doesn't have the same kinetic energy at 20 as it does at 40. The 50,000t didn't have the same energy at 20 as it did at 40. If you add mass to the car it'll have greater inertia. -II-
The time is determined by how fast the mass can break the building. If we'd shoot the 50,000t block at 500 mph at the rest of the building then it would probably happen in less than a second. Not the Laws of Clunkity Clunk.
