DOCTORNERVE! your my only hope! you did a really great job transcribing this intro but another song I really love by sabbath is one titled "early one morning" it can be found here on youtube. It sounds great! It sounds like an easy scale and its classic sounding sabbath! what you think of it?

@doctornerve haha i suppose so. It doesnt sound as hard as one would think though. Currently im guitarless so i can't play. I just ordered a pair of jaydee "old boy" pickups and I have a sg special body comming in sometime next week. real excited to get everything put togeher. have to wait 3 months for the pickups though O_O

So at the time of the Paris concert, Tony was using an SG with stock single-coil P-90 pickups in both the bridge and neck positions?

@Jim5150jvc He had a P-90 in the bridge position with a metal cover built by John Birch. He had a John Birch Superflux in the neck position (9 pole pickup also with metal cover). Do Google Images search on superflux iommi and you'll see some closeup photos I took of his guitar, currently on display at Hard Rock Cafe NYC

@BoxenstienMusic I love the Kolbe 1x12. The response is phenomenal. It's an integrated system in that Harry built the cab according to the acoustics of the EV12L speaker. The whole cab's construction is tuned to the response of the speaker itself. He also builds a 4x12

@SlackBabbathTs - I'm running a night train through an Egnater 2x12 tourmaster cabinet. The Egnater is an oversized birch cab with celestion speakers that feature a removable rear panel which allows for an open/closed back option.
