Too much compression on the high end is making the hats and other light percussive sounds jingly. Sounds like the drum loop is in MP3 format. Pretty much the entire bottom end is flat and lifeless aside from the main bass synth. If you went to a school for this get your money back! You're a decent arranger though I guess. The part at 4:18 doesn't dip enough volume-wise. If not for that stuff this track would be great. But it's good.

I hear you. A lot of drumnbass producers mix with the idea in mind that they want the song they're working on to drown out the previous song on the house sound system. Usually compression is used for that, which actually flattens volumes spikes and peaks, allowing the engineer to crank up the other elements in the mix. Some are for this idea, and some are against it. But as it stands, those against liberal compressing of sounds usually...get drowned out by other artists' mixes. Go figure.
