this is why i hate world of warcraft. they can crank out expansions for it yet it will have been over 10 years before starcraft gets a sequel. dont forget about the new diablo that will be out in another 3-4 years.

wtf are you talking about wow is a sequel to the warcraft series. it picks up after the events of the frozen throne. not to mention it has 2 expansions with a 3rd on the way and a promise of more. no other game blizzard makes has more than 1 expansion that blizzard put out. there will be at least 11 years between the starcrafts.

no i mean starcraft 1 and 2 will be at least 11 years apart, and maybe longer. it has been 8 years since diablo 2 came out, and they just announced that diablo 3 was being made.

warcraft 1 to wc2 = 1 year

wc2 expansion to wc 3 = 6 years

diablo to diablo 2 = 3 years

starcraft to starcraft 2 = 11+ years

diablo 2 to diablo 3 = 8+ years

that makes the new generation of blizzard games the longest wait between sequels.

Thors, contrary to popular belief, look awesome. They're essentially siege tanks in tank mode (with the firing rate)...with flak cannons attached to their backs. I can see how a Thor/Tank push would be hard to stop. XD

I don't think it'd be too hard to stop. considering thors are one of, if not the last available units to terran players, all you gotta work on is beating them before it gets that far. Either way, I don't think you could call a thor/tank combo a "push". more as a "roll over".

yes it is they already said that this game is very far from beta and already looks pretty good for just an alpha but they have to add more things, moderate micro vs macro and the singleplayer is being made right now so theres no way it can be finished this year, they already said that this is the first RTS they do that are focusing first on the multiplayer and then on the singleplayer in the past they do it inverted first the SP and then the MP.

They are 1/3 of the way done for the single campaigns... And they are going to talk about them more at the end of the year. Man, I feel like this game is not going to be released this year! Is StarCraft II going to be released in 2009? x(
