India is also guilty of letting its population get out of control... India is set to overtake china as the largest population and the country can't support it and most of it is in poverty. Australia also can't support the immigration from india because, despite the abundance of land, we don't have anywhere near the infrastructure. All housing planned in the future in australia is going to be medium to high density, meaning shitty cramped apartments to cope with the rising population.
While i think that this issue is being overblown by both sides, i notice there's a resentment going on in australia at the moment towards indian immigrants. I recon this is largely due to population and jobs. Indians have over the past decade have been slowly taking all the low paying jobs in places like taxis, petrol stations, supermarkets etc and the younger population who grew up here are understandably annoyed that the few jobs they need are being taken by immigrants...

These attacks do occur but in the vast minority, the reason for most of them is because many indian students work graveyard shifts and finish at maybe 4 am and walk home alone on a saturday night with their flashy phones or ipods. India is also guilty of letting its population get out of control... India is set to overtake china as the largest population and the country can't support it and most of it is in poverty. Australia also can't support the immigration from india because, despite the abundance of land, we don't have anywhere near the infrastructure. All housing planned in the future in australia is going to be medium to high density, meaning shitty cramped apartments to cope with the rising population.

While i think that this issue is being overblown by both sides, i notice there's a resentment going on in australia at the moment towards indian immigrants. I recon this is largely due to population and jobs. Indians have over the past decade have been slowly taking all the low paying jobs in places like taxis, petrol stations, supermarkets etc and the younger population who grew up here are understandably annoyed that the few jobs they need are being taken by immigrants...
