Stevens is not on the criminal level of Cooke, but he definitely got away with hits that would have been looked at twice in today's NHL. The hit to Lindros was clearly head contact, the one to Kayria was a blind side, and those are his two biggest hits. Standards back then, those were clean plays, but today, they are suspension-worthy.
