  • Great video! Thanks! And nice workshop!! Seems like the daylight helps a lot... I wish I could have one like that!!

  • Super cool XD

I just ordered the same plane from HK! :D

    Waiting until it arrive :D

    Cessna is the top :D

  • thankyou very much for this vedio :)) very nice

  • how many planes do u have ?

  • lol 5:33 pumpkin in the background

  • out of stock :(

  • Thank you so much for this.

  • For some reason, I like RC planes with props better than hidden fans.

  • stupid question how does the propeller assembly go? you have the shaft of the motor a washer? then a nut? which sits inside the plastic nose cone? the the prop then the chrome nut with a point? I think mine is missing a nut somewhere

  • lucky dude , chlln , flying nitro planes and making money

  • would this thing be able to airtow a glider

  • The skytrainer looks good, but I would like an electric-powered semi-glider (with the the motor up above the wing) but the fuselage has to be small enough to fit in a reasonable size suitcase, and the wings must be in two pieces for the same reason. Any suggestions as to a make/model with full rudder-elevator-aileron control (for a rusty RC pilot?)

  • is it a 3ch

  • Very nice video

  • hi nitroplanes my super cub lp gets tossed around in the air any thoughts

  • Thank you so much! This is extremely helpful! Thank you!

  • hi first sorry for my bad english

where did you buy this beautiful plane??

  • @MrStrudelPopje Nitroplanes . com =).

  • ..with this one, I mean!

  • I just ordered the Sky Trainer, almost exactly like this one, different markings only. Nitroplanes doesn't have a parts list, but they say they can order them. My question is, are parts from HobbyZone for an almost exactly the same plane compatible with this on?

  • y do u have to turn the transmitter on first??

  • I just bought the Airfield version of this plane. Did you join the main wing halves permantly together or leave them seperate?

  • I wouldnt call this RTF for a begginer. More like ARF. For advanced pilots then this is RTF

  • Hey i was wondering if I buy this RTF and i already have a reciever for my Dx6i and i just switch out recievers and will it work still?

  • @PlaneFlyyer it should work if they use the same plugs.

  • Is this a good trainer?

  • i bought one of these with my 13th birthday money did i make a good choice?

btw i cant fly it untill im good with the simulater

    :)

  • nitroplanes: which hole has the less hole, which hole has more throws?

  • So are the "ready to fly planes" already come with the engine install in the plane or is that something you have to do (Electric and/or Nitro)?

  • Great plane! Does anyone know of a downloadable model for a RC simulator, ideally for Aerofly Professional Deluxe? I've Googled for electric RC models similar to this plane to practice in AFPD, but have had no luck.

  • Hi, im buying the Sky trainer now and i want to buy an extra lipo battery and an extra prop.

so i wanna know what is the Size for the battery? is it 20C or 10C?

and what about the prop? what is the size or model for it..

Plz answer fast cause im in the middle of the purchasing process now..

    Thanks

  • I got my Skytrainer today and it looks great! Only thing is I don't like the glue tube that comes with it. The tube does not have a pointed tip to get into small areas.

  • Hey Nitroplanes. Thank youi for this vid. It was really helpful.

I would like to use this airplane with the "Flapperon" configuration on my JrX3810 transmitter. Have you any idea about the degree of the flap? If yes, please can you give me this information?

Many thanks from the far away Italy =)

  • what glue should i use?

  • @superpokemaster12 Hey Superpokemaster12! Definitely use Epoxy glue. Purchased at any hobby stores or on Hobbypartz . com (Free shipping!!) -cn

  • @XmuveeStudios you bind it like any other plane. this plane dosen't have flaps

  • ha my first plane was the parkzone ultra micro p-51

  • nitroplanes need to stock up better than that..!

  • @delcob Hey Delcob! Thanks for the comment, we are as anxious as you guys! We have our containers in customs right now for verification, once the products come in, you bet we're gonna notify our valued hobbyists and viewers like you immediately! -cn

  • what is the cessna in the back at 1:20

  • @bryanbatchelor Cessna 182 Skylane Turbo

  • Hey bud, I am trying to look for the exact same plane at nitroplanes (same decals). Do you guys still have that one with the same decals. I don't like the newer version they are selling right now. I wonder if u might be able to help me. Thank you.

  • Police at 6:51 :D NICE plane

  • Anyone have trouble getting the spinner back plate onto the motor? It appears to be too small..

  • u have 2 connect the battery to a real car??!! please reply

  • amazing what chinese slavery can make now !

  • Well it appears that the plane I got actually HAD the decals on the parts and they were removed, I can't imagine what the point would be in doing that unless they were not applied correctly.

This left the cowl covered with glue which took me forever to find something that would dissolve the glue and not damage the cowl.. Amazingly Gunk for engines worked great.

Not sure what's up with these (no decal) planes, used or what, but something is strange.

I hope this kind of damage isn't common.

  • Just got this plane... HEY NITROPLANES---WHATS WITH ALL THE DAMN DINGS??

I mean really WTF? In the fuse, in the wings, I mean really, it's ridiculous... And clearly these things happened before packing.. Is there some guy on the assembly line with a screwdriver popping holes in these things for fun or what? Ever heard of quality control?

  • It also helps to put some heavy duty clear packing tape over weak areas or areas that are susceptible to ground contact on rough landings... Have fun!

  • Where can these decals be found????

  • Ditto. How can we get the decals. For those that are blissfully unware, NP is now selling it stark white. It looks like I'm flying a giant marshmellow. It was cheap but I figured I could get the decals but so far no luck. Any love on this?

  • @SmartieParts

I assume this is why the price is pretty low... I went to my local hobby shop and got some detailing materials--letters number, pinstripe tape, adhesive backed detail covering (not the iron on kind) plus there is "lite" iron on covering for foam planes.. That should do the trick plus you don't have to worry about the manufacturer putting the decals on sloppily..

  • @trondyne Good call. I'll do the same. Thanks for the alcohol tip.

  • @SmartieParts

BTW: Before doing any of the detailing I mentioned you should always wipe the whole plane down with pure alcohol from the hardware store..

  • Can any 11.1v battery be used with this airplane?

  • hfgsdfasgd

  • I notice some slight differences in the plane in video and my airfield 93A182. So, not sure you will relate to this or be able to answer it. There was no user's manual just a large poster size sheet with instructions and parts list. Not much in the way of instructions. It came with a three pin connector, similar to servo connector, with pin 1 wired with short black wire to pin3. I have no clue what it is for. Any ideas?

  • i think im gona get it on ebay

  • Im sorry at the end is it meant to be a car or a plane??

  • would not recommend using an electric screwdriver. you might just wear out the screws.

  • Hi. I just wanted to say that I put this together, and was also concerned about the rear landing gear not seeming to want to stay in the slot. It dropped out while walking to the car with it.

  • De ja vu.....when putting it together, both wings have a small nipple that pop into place holding the leading edge of the wings in the main frame, and the trailing edge side is screwed in, with of course the bar running through both wings for support. All the time I'm thinking...this could easily pop out and the wings could fold in midair.

  • Well, guess what happened. I did a loop, came out of it, throttle up again to bank to the right and the wings folded into a slight V. I noticed it right away. It was very hard to control, and I could'nt maneuver it at all after that. It did a nose dive right into the ground, and smashed it to smithereens from about 100 feet up.

This is a design flaw for sure! Nitroplanes heard about it...and will do nothing about it. Pretty much said "tough luck".

  • nice garage man!

  • I like your garage, its like my heaven hahah

  • Hey Bud, Thx for the video. I just bought this model from nitroplanes and I have 2 questions.

    1. How do you get the back landing gear mount to lock into place? I tried pressing the landing bar into the slot but nothing happens. It's just sitting loose in there? I pressed very hard to no avail, and I'm afraid of possible breaking something.

    2. What are the alligator clips supposed to connect to in order to charge the lipo battery?

    Thx...

  • @Mitch2556 You have to bend the landing gear inwards then input it into the insert, once its in it should hold very well.

    2. The alligator clips are intended for clipping on to your Car Battery to charge

  • @nitroplanes Thanks for the info. I had to dremel out the landing gear slot to make it 3/32" wider. The main gear fit snug after that. One other question: I haven't flown it yet. I noticed the prop and spinner are pointing to the right "off center" when standing behind the plane. It this a defect or some adjustment for torque?

  • Guys, Fantastic Plane

I flew it today and it was beautiful! This is actually my first 4 Ch Plane and I knew nothing about how to fly it - but it was SO EASY TO FLY!!! I'm not an ad btw.

I highly recomend this plane to ANYONE. Amazing plane, although I was rly nervous before flight. lol

  • How Long does it take to charge for a full flight?

  • nice vid.

What cind of glue do you use to put the horizontal and vertical stabilizers in place?

And what glue do you recomend?

  • @matrobsti Glue is included :)

  • nice vid.

What cind of glue do you use to put the horizontal and vertical stabilizers in place?

  • Whats the diffrence between this FMS sky Trainer and the Dynam Sky Trainer.

  • Ohh the sweet sound of the skill drill :)

  • lol X.D

  • Nice vid. Nice plane!

  • Great build video. I will be recieving mine tomorrow. I can't wait to try it out. I am a heli man, but am interested in flying the planes as well. fofunable on you tube.

  • Is the blue 182 hanging from the ceiling a Sky Trainer too? Is it another type of trainer?

  • It looks like the Sky Trainer that we carry; the blue version. It's pretty much the same thing, different color.

    -Teddy from rcdiscuss . com

  • @nitroplanes The glue tube that comes with the plane does not have a pointed tip so as to get into small areas.

  • @rossnorose Hey Rossnorose, I immediately notified the manufacturers regarding your feedback. Our builders would actually recommend not using the glue that comes with the plane but use Epoxy glue. That can be found at any local hobby stores or $2.50 on Hobbypartz . com (Free shipping right now too!) Hope the info helped! -cn

  • @nitroplanes

THEN WHY INCLUDE THE GLUE IF IT"S NOT RECOMMENDED? SOUNDS DUMB!

  • Yes it is bigger but the dynam is still a incredable plane for a cheaper price. FMS looks great but it is hassle to build. I have owned both and they both have there pros and cons.

  • This plane is great but if the price is too much for you get the DYNAM SKY TRAINER it is the same thing but cheaper!!!

  • actually this one is bigger than the Dynam.

  • It is not the same at all. Although, they made improvements since I purchased mine, it is not scale at all, it's smaller and it's not scale. Also, it's not scale. But it did serve me well as a trainer.

  • oh nice and what's the price of this plane? i live in USA, NJ

  • $140.

  • do you sell to UK?

  • they would,nt ship something to me because of the size,, the item was just over 40 inch,es,, sick1,, ireland,,,.,

they hav some cool mod,s RTF

  • clue in the title

  • Check out the Related videos in the side bar, the Flight Video is posted there. I do separate videos, 1 for building, 1 for flight and review.

  • watch nightflyer's review it has everything about it

  • look for " RC cessna"

  • best plane or jet i could get for $350?

  • what dip shit gave son8got8damn a thumbs down and why? lol

  • very cool, does the builder have a yt channel? Post as a reply to my comment so I can subscribe to you..... nice work.

  • rcredbaron

  • Yes he does,

    Its Rcredbaron

  • didnt you already do this vid?

  • nitroplanes takes the videos of others with their permission and reposts it. Only videos of their planes of course
