I dont know why he says he is not sad, he clearly is very extremely depressed (ample reason to be), just look at the way his head shakes when he talks. People like him and Sahir went into a shell after the gruesome partition of punjab. He should have moved to england or canada for a bit to regain his composure mentally. Partition really could not solve anything much as people are still caught up in the maze of religious abuses and fanaticism
he migrated from pakistan,he lived with musims and adopted their great culture and language .we muslims dont apply these hundu laws.he was very fond of muslim culture.look how he talk ,behave,is like we pakistani behave.he was a true pakistani(muslim)
