  • Good job man....

  • Damn! I loved it

  • great!!!

  • I wish I could make my Viking sing like that.

  • Ever had a bad day, this is what you do , after endless days trying to play the dam thing , One day yes one day it clicks you can just about to manage that blues lick from start to finish . This makes every bad day turn into a great day , Great blues playing BluesHeavy ! .

  • well played mr bluesheavy.

  • Very nicely done!! Great playing, you absolutely nailed that tone!! Good singing to, 5 stars!!

  • Great man!

  • Fantastic u and the Viking i buyin one soon thaknx bro!!!!!

  • This is what its all about!

Nice guitar, playing and singing btw, very good job on my favourit blues song!

  • what finish is this? the wild cherry? great playing/singing btw!

  • Nice job man.....I know what you mean .....all the greats are tough to nail....

I do some Buddy Guy....same feelin...check it out if you have time

    Peace,

  • This is the blues are you lisening!?

  • 35 comments? come on you deserve way more. Really really great work. five stars. btw does the viking get out of tune quick after you've been bending notes?

  • @simonsaidwhat Thanks ad about the tuning no better or worse than any other guitar I have owned. I had a Les Paul and the D and G String forever out of tune. It alos depends on your ear. My ears have gotten better and now I pickup even quicker when the guitar is even slightly out of tune.

  • I'm a newbie so can someone help me out with the progression for this song? what key and stuff? Cause it sucks to have the blues from this song and not be able to express it...lol

  • you got the blues, dude...yeah! love it!

  • Good job well done! You can tell you felt it!

  • that's legit

  • very cool

  • Hahahahhahhahahahahahhahah!

  • You got it. Damn your good.

  • I appreciate the words

  • Two words...real talent.

  • nice playing ! great guitar tone! nice singing too. well done man

  • Thank you i appreciate it.

  • Wow. That was nice. Really nice. Great blues voice too.

I could listen to that guitar all night long.

  • Thanks I really appreciate that

  • Nice job!

  • I like this song alot..youve got the BB king vibrato or should I say Freddie King..

  • Thanks BB or Freddie you cant go wrong...I wish I had half the talent

  • Great job man, most people, including myself, don't even try to sing while playing guitar on here! Kind of wish you had recorded the whole song though. As far as tone, I like it. You can buy a thousand guitars but you'll always have the same fingers. Awesome video!

  • Assuming that that's you singing, this is one of the best videos, ever.

    =D

  • Thanks its me singing I always think my voice is a little horse sounding.

  • freddie king was one of the best bluesmen ever

    RIP

  • Great song, where can i find the playback?

  • I just looked up Freddie King Backing Tracks in Google and it came right up...

  • wow! love ur playing and singing. I'm gonna get a Hag. viking, but im trying to decide over the deluxe or the regular.(like urs)Anyways,i've been looking everywhere 4 a dealer, but i cant find one near me. i cant buy it without playing it first... plus i don't trust that the online stores will have the best quality in guitars.(like it might have frut buzz and scratches)where did u get yours?

  • I got through Ebay this Guy was selling them in Canada. Not to many music stores carry them. I didn't play the deluxe but I think all your paying for is the Inlays and Color not worth the extra Scratch Musicinasfriend Carries them online and you can send it back for free if you dont like it.

  • Did you sell it in the end?? What had you in mind then to replace it with??

  • I didn't sell though I'm thinking about It Im considerng a Gibson Les Paul Standard.

  • Well, I have a Gibson 335 and a Gibson Les Paul and a vintage Hofner Archtop along with a 73 Strat and other guitars... Believe me, one thing I have learned is chasing a tone is an unforgiving experience! My advice would be to keep your Hagstrom and get the LP in addition as it will never sound as soulful as you have made this sound, and consequently, you will regret your loss later!!

This Hagstrom sound is a cross between a 335 and a Tele... a long way from a LP

  • I kept it and purchased an SG Standard instead awsome guitar.

  • ...waiting for the new post!!!

  • Heart and soul.. in both the playing and the singing!

  • Wow great singing! At first i thought it was just you lip syncing. Keep up the good work.

  • Ive never seen someone hold the pick like that. Anyways you did a real good job, it was great.

  • hagstrom viking or epiphone dot?

  • The bridge, body-shape and headstock tell show it's a Hagstrom Viking

  • where did you get that guitar?

    i want one so bad

  • hagstron viking actually im think about selling it on ebay for $500 including hardcase if you interested let me know?

  • Nice job dude. Good licks...and yeah you do sound like Johnny Winter when you sing...which is a good thing.

  • Thanks, and anything Winters does which compares to me is a compliment

  • Nice job man, i dont remember freddie playing with a pick tho :o i got to see his daughter Wanda King play this year at a bluesfest. probably the best singer ive ever seen, her guitarist was sick too. my own artcore is on theway, hopefully ill be putting up some videos soon

  • He did play witha pick however he had a thumb pick and one on his pinky and played that way. If you check out hs video on youtube Live from Sweeden you can see it.

    Thanks for the comment.

  • sweet dude! did you know you have a voice like johnny winter? that's a great thing to have man!

  • Thanks I appreciate it.

  • How does the hagstrom compare to the ibanez w/dimarzios?

  • Hagstrom all the way

  • Very sweet dude! Freddie one of my faves...And thanks for playing a hollow body...Evey one seems to play nothing but strats !.. I have a Heritage 535 semi hollow that i love..Run it through Dr Z MAZ 18 head w/ 2-12 cab...i just ordered the BB..cant wait to get it !!! Thanks again for playing great BLUES !

  • Thanks I appreciate it you will love the BB I would even recommend getting the AC Booster and set one to boost and the other to overdrive. I alos see your a fan of Chubby and Bill Perry. I got to play with Bill at his open mic jam before he passed he was awsome.

  • Nice tone, you should get an iMac and do some recording with Garageband. You would sound a million times better if this were multitracked and mixed down. Nice licks bro! Sweet tone on the Hagstrom Viking.

  • Great! Nice "bending" too!!

  • your amazing!!

  • Thanks I appreciate it
