  • I did not say it was not cruel. I said that nurse think that an abortionist worker killing babies are wonderful! What is wonderful in killing babies?

  • @fintyrock How does you question pertain to this video? If your comments are not on topic they will be removed.

  • BEFORE ENDING CURCUMCISION END ABORTION!

  • @fintyrock You make the mistake of thinking that one has to focus on one issue before working on another.

These issues are not on a sliding scale of importance, except in your own mind.

  • @Bonobo3D It is just that I can't understand people being shocked of torture to babies by curcumcision but are not shocked about abortion which is torturing a child to death!

  • @fintyrock Well there's lots to learn then. There are a lot of informative videos on this channel and elsewhere showing and discussing how harmful genital cutting is to children and the adults they become.

  • How can that women working in Planned Parenthood be a wonderful person that much? Her job is killing babies. This is much worst than circuncusion! I don't understand why circumcision os cruel to her but not the torture to death pf an unborned child!

  • @fintyrock If you don't understand why cutting off part of a persona's genital organ is cruel I will explain it to you. Because the genitals are the part of the body that deliver the most sexual feeling to the brain. Cutting them off someone without consent from someone who is too young to understand or consent is a severe violation of human rights.

Please watch the YouTube video, On Abortion and Circumcision posted by equalsfb before making more comments here please.

  • @Bonobo3D You are absolutely correct, no matter what people say. Somewhat of a disturbing story (made me cringe, because it's so wrong to do that to a defenseless child) but very true. It would be nice if more people would realize the difference from right and wrong, this seems to be a more frequent problem in the black community now. Would you agree?

  • @Kevvo2011 I don't think the problems associated with telling right from wrong are a more frequent problem for any one race, I think that is a human problem of ethics and morals for all people.

  • @Bonobo3D I'm not saying that it's exclusive to one race, but the US in general are the main ones who still practice that kind of torture on children for no rational reason. Most of the world's men (about 80% or so) are intact. Living in this country makes me realize that I'm lucky I wasn't mutilated like that.

  • @Kevvo2011 Yes intact adults in cultures that generally cut children are very lucky indeed. Your perspective can help educate and end this torture on children, and the adults that they become.

  • "Hygiene." "Prevents infection." How about "Another questionable religious practice that has gone unchecked for centuries and is now so embedded in our culture that people try to justify it with bad science"?

  • I really enjoyed this.

As an R.N, my first time observing a circumcision was while I was a nursing student, and my reaction was so very similar to yours.

The education needs to get out there that it is NOT a medically necessary procedure, and it IS a very serious medical procedure that poses real risks. It IS painful for the infant. The foreskin is a healthy, normal part of a penis, it is not dirtier, and does not and should not be removed for simply cosmetic reasons.

  • I'm ethnically Jewish and my parents didn't like the fact that I got circumcised, yet they didn't think about that for even a second, because they thought that this is just what they had to get done to me, so they were happy to get it over with, and they feel good about themselves for doing their "duty" as Jewish parents. They had no problem getting me home intact, and if not for the virus of Judaism I would be a whole person.

  • Spigner is professionally active in Berkeley CA. University communities are more intactivist than the rest of the USA. Northern CA is the most anti-circ part of the USA. That boys born to Berkeley parents are now 90%+ intact does not surprise me. But in Des Moines IA or Fort Wayne IN...

  • @alnot01 But I grew up in Michigan. My brother, born in 1971, was left intact by my Mother, who is quite the intactivist herself! I take my message everywhere I go, look for my daughter's youtube video, coming soon. She is a 16 year old intactivist and sexual peer educator.

  • Bonobo

I understand where your coming from and i'm sympathetic. If Roman Catholic Priests were sexually mutilating infant baby boys feminists would kick our Irish heads in. It is crazy that Protestants and Jews in America who sexually mutilate infant baby boys are not held accountable

  • American women are sexual perverts. American women sexually mutilate their own children. Obstetricians and pediatricians in America are sexual mutilators

  • @brendubab Not all women do this to their children. Many American women are strong defenders of genital integrity. Look at this brave and wonderful woman!

Yes, cutting on the genitals of a child is a sexual perversion however generalizations about all women are not helpful to this message.

  • @brendubab : Mothers are seldom perverts, and a growing number of USA women detest circ. In many USA families, the father is far more determined to circ his sons than their mother is. Millions of American women have never seen a natural penis, and have not noticed that male nudes in fine art are all intact. Millions who know what it looks like have never been intimate with one. Blame the medical school profs (almost all male) who teach this weird practice and refuse to analyse and criticise it.

  • @brendubab I'm an American (and Canadian) mother and my son is intact, thank you very much.

  • Well done for speaking out against this primitive and barbaric cultural practice

  • I love you Tora!

  • Wonderful! I'm circumcised but we didn't circ our sons. Part of that is because I always wondered what I was missing. The other part is because my sister is an RN and basically said everything this RN said - it's barbaric and just a money maker for the doctors.

More people need to educate themselves on leaving boys intact and the risks of circumcisions.

    Thank you for this video.

  • Casken42- You obviously don't know the meaning or spelling of HEAR SAY. Tora Spigner is relating official information gained as part of her experience and her knowledge, quite the OPPOSITE of hear say. Circumcision is a billion dollar a year industry in the USA with no medical reason to justify it. Spigner is an ethical nurse willing to stand up and say it's wrong.

Cutting healthy erogenous foreskin "prevents infections" the same way pulling healthy teeth prevents decay.

  • No it isn't Doctors are in it for the money because the ARE. Do you know how much a doctor will get paid just for one circumcision?

And obviously you are ignorant of circumcision. Circumcision doesn't prevent anything.

  • circumcision prevents infections? what kind of infections? my son is intact and NEVER had an infection. Majority of male in my family are intact as well (3 generations of men) and no infections there either. Infections are caused by the doctors who forcibly or tell parents to retract their son's penis to clean under it. You're NOT supposed to do that. You will only cause tearing that leads to INFECTIONS. Now who are causing damage here? Please research circumcision, you seem to ignore the facts.

  • if you cut your finger off you wouldnt get any splinters in it. whats your point?

  • @Casken42 Liar. Healthcare professionals DO charge money to cut off foreskins! They don't do it for free!

  • BAN circumcision. Its a human rights violation. CRUEL EVIL.

I hope one day we look back at it as a shameful part of human history.

  • Thank you for speaking the truth for all babies everywhere.

  • You are welcome, I am here to educate and inform.

  • I'm so glad to see RN's speaking up about this unnecessary procedure!

  • Tora, I'm so glad you are speaking up for those who are too young to speak for themselves. My two sons are intact because a nurse-midwife in Chicago told me in 1987, "Circumcision is barbaric. Don't do it!"

  • Yes, I often talk to patient's about circumcision, 9/10 if they were considereing it, they change their minds and take the whole baby home.

  • @ChocTigress: you are a fabulous person. I'm glad you're changing people's minds on this senseless procedure.

  • Since she notes that she has encountered Jewish moms with intact sons, I should share that my own surveys at anti-circumcision rallies prove that US Jews are 5 times more likely than Americans in general to be at an anti-circumcision rally.

This is to say I think there are more than enough Jews to work within the Jewish community on ending infant circumcision.

Foreskin feels REALLY good. HIS body HIS decision.

  • @TLCTugger I believe theres the site where many of the Hebrew faith talk about MGM and it's downfalls.
