Hey I have a Z2 can I use the smaller harness video output (yellow RCA) cable and send that feed to 2 headrest monitors? If not then what do I need to get or do? Thanks.
I did pay full price for the z3 wen it came out on crutchfield, com. I think I payed a little over two grand, aint that ridic, and i think i saw a pretty new one on ebay a week or two after I got it for 5 to 700 dollars, still tho I go top of the line for my cobra. I wanted brand new no matter the cost. But again thx for your help guys youve really done alot for me. Plus i have 13.2 inch screens coming for the visors and headrest monitors mabe and a 20 inch on the trunk lid. Sry for the storylol
Although i do wanna upgrade my hard drive to the 80 i think it is right i currently have the 40 and also update the maps. But i dont have go update anything on the z3 for this to work right all i gotta do is switch the wires around like you showed right? Also how would I get all the data off my hard drive onto the new one. I might be able to do it I jus havent taken the hard drive out yet i dunno what the connector looks like but i can prolly transfer but any help wuld be appreciated
I got a problem..I got the AVH-P4200DVD, i set up the bypass as well so dvd would show while driving, also hooking up 2 10inch kickers running off a rockford fosgate amp.. worked great when i just wired it, i go to screw it in..turn back on and now my radio wont work, cd plays but the dvd shows only sometimes and i cant eject it for some reason...HELP anyone?
@mrbrunston yea me 2 i almost bought information off ebay a while back on how to do this and i wasnt sure if this was gonna work on the z3 until the end of this vid and this comment confirmed it I cant wait to do this to my z3 in my cobra thx a bunch guys greatly appreciated.
i have tried this bypass on my z1 and the gps antenna still overrides this. is there something else thats needed. i have them both grounded the light green and the yellow and black . the yellow and black is in the same position u placed urs

hey. im getting some whining noises coming from my speakers, and whining when i accelerate. but not noises when the engine is off. RCAs and power/ground wires are not close to each other. the ground wire from my 4-channel amp is pretty long, about 3 feet and its grounded to the frame of the car, i think it might be sheet metal. i cant find any where else to ground the amp. what do you suggest? thanks.
