  • @X2N18 I guess you have trouble listening!

  • Velcro is shit, use double sided sticky tape. Stuff is strong as hell.

  • Hey everyone! I need help with THIS: I already have a Boss CX800-1600W CHAOS EXXTREME SUBWOOFER! But i have a little problem. I have 2boss 12" 800watts subwoofer + 2boss 8" 400watts SUBWOOFER + 1Boss 300watts tweeters 2x 150watts each. What amp can i add on to what i have already or what will play all those & still leave room for more power to be on the safe side. Let me know so i know which to buy. I'm still new to all this & Thank you

  • connect the ground first. Even if the battery is disconnected their is always a risk of shorting out the amp.

  • @caraudioman16 Though it doesn't matter if all is disconnected, not a bad precautionary habit.

  • hey man great vid, i have a e36 saloon (four door) how do i get to the battery at the back for wiring from the cabin? i want to run wires through from the battery to the cabin, i want to have a clean look with no dangling wires, will i need to drill or remove the seats (looks like the trunk/boot is a separate entity to the car itself please help!)

  • @donnav786 Sorry for the late reply. Our E36 Sub systems come with PDF instructions. We plan to create a video in the near future as well. Please visit our site bavsound dot com for more information.

  • dude you always but always put the Ground 1st than any other cable u fail in that only part xD

  • @X2N18 im hoping that he is a good installer and will have them both disconnected at the battery so it wont matter :D

  • @X2N18 doesnt matter, obviously he just did it and it was fine

  • @X2N18 if u will listen to what he said he didnt have the fuse in the line when he hooked it up so it wont hurt anything

  • its velco'd on

  • they are on sale at best buy right now ive seen them they are alpine 500-800 watts though

  • one good stop and that amp is done! it would be way smater to just move it.

  • um i think all 6 cylander bmw have the battery in the trunk... my 87 325i had it in the trunk too

  • I have an '87 E30 325i Convertible and the battery is right in front of the firewall on the passenger side of the car.

  • @Coreydude012 my bad i forgot about convertables trunks being different

  • E36? o E46?

  • my buddy has that amp

  • Not bad, man. But not every install is like this...

If anyone's a fan of alpine MRP Monoblocks - I have them pushin to their limits in every video I make.

  • i was just wondering what do u think about an alpine m350 amp pushion a alpine type r sub in a tahoe?? also i have an f 250 mid amp but should that sub bump loud?

  • It won't do too much damage in a roomy tahoe to be honest. If you put in in the way back, a single 12 could sound pretty good though.

  • sparks in the trunk not cool;;

what about junk in the trunk

  • I need to find out where to ground the wire on a BMW e46, and where to run the Audio leads from the Head Unit to the Amp. This video shows nothing other than how to stick wires into the Amp and screw them down.

  • you could ground the wire to any metal in the trunk......

  • 4 gauge min

  • what guage of wire do i need for a 900 watt amp

  • woah i got that same amplifier

  • your a loser.get a life and quit surfing youtube for videos you can hate on cause your a loser and have no life

  • jajjaja, your mom tell you say that,,,,,jajajajjajajaja

  • not to mention a shitty amp and sub...

  • alpine is good better then what u got i bet

  • get a life.the video is to show you how to install.that, he did.you stupid schmuck

  • Velcro is a old trick, its good too, cause you dont want nasty tape marks or glue, or whatever..

  • velcro will leave glue marks on the bottom of the amp. But it works ok if you dont just wanna use a small screw and screw it into the wall.

  • get a 3SIXTY.2

Advanced Interactive Signal Processor & OEM Interface

    rockford fosgate

  • can you put a home theater sub and connect it to your amp if you just splice the to prong power wire

  • If you wore a velcro suit and jumped onto a wall, you would not be coming off. Velcro has a very strong hold!

  • mate, ask ur local audio shop, 2 of them told me its not a very smart idea coz they can be quite heavy. But hey, if u want 2 risk damaging you $500 amp go for it, im not.

  • were does the remote connect to?

  • back of the head unit. It turns the amp on when the head unit is turned on

  • you should always do ground first..always do power (battery) last

  • I don't see why it'd matter at long as he disconnected his battery first.

  • 2 subs into one amp is simple, if you have more than 1 channel its easy to see u wire each sub into its own channel. if you have 1 channel amp such as seen here you can wire in series or parallel being careful of your impendace.

  • could i connect 2 subs into 1 amp?

  • Can I connect my ground wire to the negative terminal to that battery that's in my trunk?

  • no, if there is no ground, make one. take a drill and drill a hole into the chasis. get a nut to fit in that hole. sand around the hole and make sure there is no paint.

  • On that note be careful on what you are drilling through. It's not a good idea to punture gas tanks or other vital parts.

  • Well duh just dont drill randomnly. think before you do. if you dont wanna drill there are tons of other places you can mount to like seat bolts taillights...etc...

  • look at crutchfields installation vidoes... they do everything right..

  • hey i have a 1200 watts amp and i follow your steps, but the amp kills my battery (new battery)so i dont know if what i need is a capacitor or what should i do?? can somebody help me out with my question please

  • did u ground it right? thats the only thing i can think of...

    :(

  • Have you installed your relay. The relay is like the alterntor but for the amp.

  • at 1200 watts its not practical to kill your battery, even a stock alternator should suffice. be sure that your amp is not on when your car is off. a capacitor would help your alternator but isnt necessary.

  • what i have to do if i have 2 amps and i want to use both in my car but i have only 1 pair RCA cables coming from radio. how can i use then both amps? does both amps work if i connect RCA cabels from radio to first amp input and other RCA cables from first amp output to second amp input?

  • it really depends on the amp man. i have a rockford fosgate P1000-1bd. it has an input for the rca's and then another preout (or output) to hook it up to another amp. very useful if you have only one preout on your HU. My amp was expensive though, so it's all choices man. and you'll need a distribution block too if you're hookin up multiple amps.

  • what if i cant find a good place to ground in my car, is it really important? (coming from inexperience)

  • Check out our other videos. Will show the remount turn on.

  • if i bought a pair of subwoofers 4000w do they come with an amp or do i have to buy separate and do i have to buy a sertain wattage? plz reply thx

  • depends on the package you buy. usually no the amp will not come with it.

  • I know it wasn't connected but just for newbies "Connect Ground First in a live Circuit(powered).

  • some stereos dont have a remote turn on if it doesnt just hook it upt o the accessorie line

  • your stereo should have a blue remote turn on in the back.

  • where do u coneect that remote turn on to the stereo??or wuh color is the wire??
