Coincidental that the western allies had aircraft flying over the mediterranean sea? North Korea is not so much of importance to China as it was during the cold war, China already said that it wouldn't interfere if the west would attack it. @attackmike Half of their armaments are soviet. The other half are self-created. One example of indigenous weapons are the 5.8mm small arms family. Another would be the tanks and APCs. Those are self-produced. The last soviet copy of small arms was the Type 81. However, the Type 67 machine gun still in use today was copied from the Russian PK. Type 88 Machine guns are newer, but many soldiers prefer the type 67 for it's greater stopping-power-to-weight ratio, compared to the Type 88.
