if you were just using .45 acp without moonclips, when you wanted to extract them would you be able to pull them out with your fingers or would you need to use a pencil, rod, etc?
@chaseisahappyman Thanks, but like I've told all the other people who told me this.I had no tripod at the time of this vid, so i was working with only one hand.I never flip the cylinder like that, but I was doing this vid one handed.
@xCOREBiNx Yes, they still sell them. I would ask at your local gun store to see if they can order you one. And no, there is no safety. Then again you don't need on. Your finger and the long deliberate trigger pull is the safety.
Nice job and nice weapon, word to the wise from an old revolver man, don't flip the cylinder in and out with you wrist as it will warp the crane, which is the piece in front of the cylinder that the cylinder swings out on. You want to gently close and open it any time that you handle it. Once again nice weapon.
Don't forget Indiana Jones used one of them....in some scenes any way

flipping the cylinder open and closed like that will eventually twist the crane, dry-firing on the other hand will cause no harm.

will it take +p ammo?
skylerbob8 1 year ago
@skylerbob8
I have a New Model 22 also, yes, it can shoot +P ammo safely.
chrisf8657 1 year ago
Can that also use a diffrent ammo w/o the 1/2 moon clips?
MOJONIXION 1 year ago
@MOJONIXION It only takes .45, but it will load without the half-moon clips.

Nice pistol. My Remington M1917 made some time in '17-early '18 would go well with it lol :P
