RIP Larry, you were such a pioneer... So witty... Speaking the truth and not beating round the bush. Unique! I certainly still sing the 'JESUS IS THE ROCK AND HE ROCKED MY BLUES AWAY' chorus - because it's true! I can't tell you how glad I was when I became a new Christian (coming out of a rocky, mildly hippy, rebellious, wild lifestyle!) to find out there was some great music out there and not just hymns. Music is from God and we are to enjoy it (I like rock, classical, all kinds...). Yes!

What's the deal with this kid claiming to be Larry's son? What's the whole story here? Would any Norman fans like to send me a message and explain this to me? The kid claims claims to be a christian himself.... but then I saw his facebook page (wasn't at all christian-like). So until I hear Larry's side, I can't help but think this kid's hero failed him.

@DerektheDuctTape How is it blasphemy? Where in the song does he deny that Jesus is the Christ or where does he deny that Jesus died, was buried, and resurrected? According to the Bible, that is what false teachers and false prophets do (1 John 2:22; 4:3; and 2 John 1:7), and anybody who denies the Gospel (1 Corinthians 15:1-5) is to be anathema (Galatians 1). Larry does not do any of this, but actually yells the truth of the resurrection.
