Nice review but I've owned a few madcatz controllers but all of them fell apart right were the wire meets the controller and just falls apart. Not that specific one but ones with the exact set up (without mod buttons). The Microsoft one's seem to last the longest in my opinion.

hi, good review. i also watched this other guys review (not as good as yours) but i think he said you cant push the left analog stick down to sprint otherwise you would almost brake your thumb or something along those lines. is this true? thanks.

@AmericanIdiot710 Kinda. when I first got it, they were hard to press but they loosen up over time. Now it's incredibly easy to sprint/knife. :)

@paudiCOD it's lighter, easier to hold, got "shortcut" buttons to make crouching and reloading quickly and it's generally a better controller for FPS games. However, I've just played Fifa 10 with it, and it's not very easy to play football games with!

@DuDeGeTgooD The way you naturally hold your controller is key. Because where you put your fingers on the back of the controller, there are 2 buttons. This is the combat feature. You can set the buttons on the back to represent buttons on the front, so for example my left button is B and my right one is X so all I have to do to reload is click the button on the back (where my fingers normally are anyway!)

You can still use X on the front at the same time if you want to, it just makes it easier!

@DuDeGeTgooD Modded as in, it's got buttons on the back and the triggers are a specific + better shape. You can set the buttons to knife if you want, so it's got a "rapid fire" on the knife but not on the guns... fair is fair.

no, it doesnt have rapid fire. they say "quickfire" because supposedly u can pull the trigger faster with this controller, but not really a difference than a regular xbox controller.

you can program the buttons on the back to do the same functions as buttons on the back. So you can choose whether to have the button on the back as X, Y, A, B, Left Stick or Right Stick. It's pretty cool. And yes, you can use it with other games
