That's a lot of manure to have to shift! Still, we use it and it makes a huge difference to the productivity of the crop.

5 tons! That's how you do it - this looks great - I've got an allotment in Gateshead not too far from your good selves and I'm finding it difficult to find a good source of well rotted manure. BTW check out 'Johnnies allotment' on youtube - this guy has an allotment in Bristol I think but he sounds like a geordie - hilarious stuff!
