Peter didnt get his power back but a similar one that is Ability Replication, He copies an ability like flight but lose it when he touch another person with an other ability.

Sylar figured out Knox's power within a minute of meeting him, so he could do the same to Arthur. No-one would have an ability as over-powered of Arthur's without some kind of severe drawback or hole in it.

In Peter's vision in Season 1, Peter exploded, destroying New York, killing Nathan and Simone, among others. Simone wasn't killed in an explosion, and Nathan is still alive. New York is still around too...

The reason Adam died was cos of 400 year aging. Athur cud av killed Peter but he didnt cos he's family. I wonder what other abilities Arthur absorbed from Peter & also how will Peter get his powers back?

yea arthur steal the abilities from other,and he have all the powers from peter,but peters take them back the abilities because maybe peter absorbed the powers of the own father but mybe take an hours or days in absorbed this abilitie,but sylar gonna save peter,because mom told him

I think he can steal people's powers by touching them(Peter only absorbs their powers, sort of like copying them). I don't know why Adam died but Peter didn't...maybe daddy Petrelli didn't want to kill his son yet?

yeah,Arthur Petrelli can steal other people's powers by touching them.While Peter can copy other people's powers.and also Adam died because he was able to live for 400 years purely because of his regenerative abilities,so while they were taken away,he dies from the 400 years of sudden aging. Also,I think that not only did Peter's dad took his "copied" abilities,he also took his ability to "mimic" others',so maybe he will stop taking away other people's powers from now on? Since he can copy them?
