  • The JM4 Looper minus the amp and cab:) I'll plug into my Mesa Boog, thank you:)

  • does it have phantom power for condenser mics?

  • Bought it two weeks ago...... fun, fun, fun

  • is this amp good for playing metallica's music?

  • I have a question, I know it can record vocals using the XLR input, but can I say, lay down an initial guitar, then record a 2nd guitar to back the original, and then add vocals too? Thanks

  • just got it today and i only have one word: AWESOME!!

  • what was the song he's playing at the beginning??? I like it :)

  • sucky review. Let's hear some more of the samples! SUCK

  • @frwyguy This reveiw is only getting over the key components. Therefore not "SUCKY".

  • ummm i bought this amp and my treble nob was loose and it fell off and my down botton doesnt work...what do i do :(

  • ummm when i bought mine my treble nob fell off...how do i fix that???

  • Could someone please tell me asap - does it have a warm, fat jazz tone like Wes Montgomery and Pat Martino built into it as well. Any demonstrations of this please?

  • Can we, with the SD Card put our music on our computer ? Sorry for my English I'm French ...

  • @clemacdc30DW - The user manual says that the SD card slot is only used for loading the software onto the amp in the factory.

  • all needs is a built in tuner, and it would be the perfect amp

  • @thomascatlett555 it does have a built in tuner. I just got the amp today its fuckin awsome.

  • Can you connect this amp to external sound boxes or to connect it on pc?

  • do you think this is powerful enough to do small venues like pubs etc

  • @Jackko1223 Yes, I do sound for a medium size bar and this guitarist used it. I miked it and it is easily loud enough. I could have also directly plugged it straight to the board.

  • If someone wants to record the song via pc, (for better sound quality) is there any cable that can be connectable with the pc?

  • @JohnTheodo Yeah theres an audio feed on the back of the amp and you can pick what goes through it. whether it be just guitar, aux, mic, backtrack and theyre all individually adjustable.

  • @donovanc6969 Do y think that it's better than a Fender Frontman 212r?

  • i have this amp, and i definitely recommend it ;)

  • I have Marshall MG 30DFX amp right now and I want to switch to Line 6 Spider Jam... Is this a good decision?

  • This thing is really awesome. I play it yesterday with Metal option and ... Ohhh yessss ... Ok but if anyone buy Line 6 so he must also have a nice guitar .. And really nice demo.. i sub you

  • can you change the key?

  • @XAeolusX I'm pretty sure it does, but it like changes the tempo a bit...it's on the Line6 website check it out.

  • It is possible to record for exemple 00:00 to 00:35 ... Stop... and after press play/record and continue 00:35 to 01:00 for exemple !?? I have the Line6 spider jam but I dont know if its possible after alot of try ... its always come back to the begening . HELP !!!

  • Hi ianrkav,

there aren't any cool Latin presets on da Jam... it's a rock / metal machine

BUT da Boss EBand JS-8 has a few really well-produced Latin Rock, Latin Jazz & Bossa backings presets...

i prefer da Boss EBand [i own both] to da Jam

  • is that the paradise amp?

  • Hi. Does anyone know if you can get the 'Santana' sound out of this Spider jam?

  • i don't know if i should get this or a marshall MG101fx :/ this one has a lot of stuff

  • i cant decide between this or the spider 4 75 please some help

  • Hey, that stand is a good idea.

I get tired of leaning my amp against the wall and walking back ten feet.

Where can I get one and does it permanently attach or what?

  • does anyone know what you need to plug an ipod or mp3 player into this amp

  • @CORPSEGRINDER557 just a ipod coard for like your car

  • @CORPSEGRINDER557 it says it at 1.10 min

  • i just bought it :D

and it´s not only an amp. it´s a portable studio and a portable band included in the amp !!!

  • i have this line 6 spider jam is god

  • This was $600 Cdn, if it was closer to $500, I might have bought it, played withit in the store and it is easy to use the features are fun but the amp doesn't make them sound so good. Effects are a little chesy and are kind of digital Sounds like in this video. It would be a good practice amp which is what I need. I am now looking at a Peavy Vypyr which would have cleaner sound.. important when you are not into distortion. Better for me. Wish the Peavy had the record and drums features tho.

  • dose the FBV express have octivator settings????

  • I own The Amp and the FBV Express pedal and no it does not

  • this is the most awesome amp in the world!!!!

  • @burl0721 wrong

  • Can anyone tell me if this is a spiderjam 3 or 4. Any advice would be appreciated

  • spider III series

  • Many thanks for the heads up my friend

  • i just got this amp over the summer, its amazing. its good for any type of music. there is too much in/on it to talk about. its so great, i recommend it for anyone. oh - and its loud enough for a band. trust me. not as loud as like, a wall of marshalls, o anything, but loud enough. although, similar, is the spider valve, which is EXTREMELY loud. if you want a very loud version of the spider 3.

  • im trading my mg 250 dfx for this is it a good trade?

  • I sold my mg250dfx a while ago and was looking at this amp. I ended up saving up for the Spider Valve but I would say its a good trade.

  • I bought it months ago :D

  • That is one sexy ass amp!!!!!

  • can u record full length songs with this baby?

  • I want this amp so bad!

  • lolx

  • is this amp suitable fo more deathy style of music?

  • Yes it is. I've had this amp for a year and you can get all sorts of great tones with it.

  • this amp is suitable for any music.

  • lol.. well it has a lot of great tones that could be perfect for death metal. there aren't really any death metal type backing tracks, but u can make ur own if u want.

u can choose from any of the drum beats and set it to a tempo u like.. .then loop a riff u like over it or several if u want.

its basically the best practice amp out there to be honest.. and its actually good for live gigging too.

  • This amp is perfect for practice. I love him and at last i have band. I am the band with this amp. :)

  • I don't like solid state amps. but my friend left this over at my house and I gotta tell ya this amp is the most fun amp I've ever played. You can get cool tones, jam with cool tunes and even sing along with it. Three thumbs up!!!!

  • how do i change from different effects or modes without having to do it manually on the amp?

cause i dont have time to do it manually when playing a song. like for example from distortion to distortion with flanger... anyone?

  • get a fbv express peddal

  • do it telepathicly.

  • if u want control at ur feet, u can buy the pedal that goes with this amp.

  • but what do i do when im playin a song... and i have to immediately change to a bit of flanger... i wont make it in time to play the flanger part if i have to manually change it on the amp... is there another way to change between different effects of modes other than manually? anyone...

  • Would you prefer the Jam or the Line 6 Spider III 150?

And does the Spider Jam has noise gates?

  • Of course they can't pack a lot of amp models into something this size so you get bored fairly soon.

Limited effect combinations also a minus. We've all made jam tracks and played them thru the front end of our amps haven't we? And what happened?- We got bored with it. This is just another gimmicky L6 toy. I'm opting for twice the processing power and more realistic sound of the vypyr series tube combo. I need something that won't bore me after the novelty wears off.

  • can you plug any pedal into this amp? or is it just line 6 pedals

  • great demo. i love my spider III 120 watt amp but now i want this to go with it!

    ~Bungee

  • ill buy ur 120 watt for 200 dollars

  • Comment removed

  • how much is this cost??? planning to but one.

  • It costs £329.99 from most shops.

  • You line 6 guys make some insanely cool stuff ;)

  • I looked at this at GC and wasn't able to change the key of the tracks without the track slowing down or speeding up- So if I want to jam in E but the track is recoded in another key, it has to speed up or slow down the tempo of the song to get into E. Bummer. Other than that it seemed like a great tool.

  • cheak out what iv done with the amp its cool: myspace(dot)com/3hreefoot7

  • my friend got this out of spite because he was jealous of my smaller line-6, not being nasty but he isnt good enough for this amp yet.

  • you d'ont need a certain level to get an amp man. hopefully the amp will make him better ;)

  • iv had this amp since xmas now and it still excites me everytime i play on it lol. I think the tones are good and the looping etc. and i hate people who take the piss out of line 6 i think this amp proves erm rong its awsome. jsut wish i knew how to save songs to memory card lol

  • does anynoe know if you can plug a bass, drums or a keyboard into the auxilary input?

  • I know you can plug in basses and keyboards, not so sure about the drums, though (assuming you mean an electric kit) I can't see why not, as they would function the same as any of the other inputs.

  • does anybody know if the footswitch comes with the amp as standard, or if it's a seperate purchase?

  • footswitch is separate

  • @watcheruss No, you have to buy it as an extra.worth having you have more control and it has a built in tuner like the amp,it also has wha wha and volume control on it.

  • i got this amp just a few days ago, and i all ready love it!!!

  • Im saving up to buy this amp, Hope its worth it! lol

and it sounds like the guy is reading from a que card or something lol

  • it will be worth it. ive had it for like 8 months now and i love it. Plugging ur ipod into it is amazing too haha

  • would it be possible to play a live club gig with that? Like maybe plug directly into the mixer and feed through the PA?

  • I don't see why not

  • Thanks - Yeah I think it has the Spider 3 guts so I don't see why it wouldn't hold up live if you run it direct.

I asked this because i don't want to spend a bunch of money on an amp for about 400-500$ - then throw down another 200-300$ for a looper...and probably have less fun then i would with this.

  • Yeah, I record direct with it and works great!

  • @stevieVantanna It's more than loud enough for a club gig!

  • @stevieVantanna it works, i do it all the time

  • @stevieVantanna it has a rca out possibilty. You can connect to mixing desk through that

  • i have this amp it fuckin rocks

  • this could be the greatest practice amp ever constructed

  • @fighterx right

  • I have this amp and love it!

  • All I gotta say is: I hope this is what you guy's have been actually working on over the last few years, because ya'll were falling behind.

But this amp, if reliable, clearly owns all in the solid-state department!

  • how much is it

  • 449

  • @portlandmusic no 399 plus 199 for ftswtch

  • whats that song ur playing at the end thats soo awesome man
