Bikes are pretty nice actually. Watching this video you can tell which ones were just put together and which have had a fair amount of time put into them. (jetting) lol. @MrYeti12 tm is probz the fastest motocross bike you can get it has everythink done to it when u get one. i ride with jim davis at my track and he does 1.34.5 or something and im doing around 1.54.6. i ride a cr125 2007 with everythink done to it e.g new fly wheel and lighter piston's and j.b jetting and also a crf450 (dave thorpes old 2006 race bike) and im on it 247 round the track but its the bikes cuz i do everythink jim has told me to do, hes a great rider and nice lad to talk to :)

@kiparissilakonias The TM probably has at least 33hp. I think the KTM 125SX has 33hp. I would expect the TM to match or beat that.

For comparison the 250f's produce about 33-35hp. The 250f's have more low end but a 125 weighs 15lbs less. If you know how to ride a 125 will be faster. Especially when all the 4-strokes get caught up taking the same line and you can go anywhere.

So much misinformation. :( The twin chamber marzocchi forks are among the best on any production bike and are nothing like the Shivers that were on Husqvarna and Gas Gas bikes. Handling is also brilliant. BTW - TM aren't allowed to race in the AMA championships because they don't sell enough bikes in the U.S.

They are not fanous worldwide because these bikes are really handmade (really, everything, they do it by their own) so they dont have a number of bikes comparable to the big industries. Maybe you know husqvarna, it's famous in the Us, but here it sucks in front of a tm

tm's do come with me upgraded parts that would other wise cost you more to get from other companys i.e honda ktm yamaha etc while tm's come with exel wheels brembo brake Ohlins shocks etc. . . . at the end of the day everyone has there own personal taste in bike i like cr/crf while my mate likes husaberg's and ktm's so stop whinning aboot lol

@motoman9477 the TMs are factory from the off and use high quality components, Marzohcchi forks and Ohlins shocks, they are like the Bimota of the off road world. I know KTM dominated the World Motocross Championship last year, but TM racing is a small factory trying to do the best they can with the budget they have. They are something different, something exotic, like Ducati, MV Agusta or Bimota in on road motorcycling. The aim of the factory is to be a race team first and foremost.

@hunjsuk First off..I've Know about TM for years..I'm not disputing the fact that the are A good bike...But A great bike they are not...Marzohcchi forks are not very good...And to upgrade to the Shiver model is not feasable giving most high end fork and shock revales to match any giving rider( save for the Showa A kit from PC)would cost less then A 3rd the cost of the Shivers...Ohlins is A high end Yamaha product...WP is owned By KTM...As KYB is owned by Yamaha ect.

The factory's aim is to be a race team first and produce motorcycles as a by the way thing, so all TM Racing motorcycles are race ready from the off so to speak.

TM Racing is not a Yamaha wannabe its a race team firstmost and manufacturer second that makes bespoke off road and supermoto motorcycles. Kind of like the Bimota of the off road motorcycle world.

I own two older TM's a 99 125en and a 01 300en, will post some vids for sure this season. They run hard, and handle great. The brakes on my 1999 125 rival the stopping power of anything else i have ever ridden in my life. I have yet to meet a downhill that scares me on that little bike. I have a yamaha WR 450f and it feels like there is oil on the pads after i get off the tm 125. Makes it feel like you have to phone ahead for reservations to stop lol.
