Amazing how much damage is done in just a couple of weeks. And some nets have been down there for decades. There have been something like 4,000 nets removed from the Salish Sea in recent years thanks to the Northwest Straits Initiative and many others.
I just checked my log book and although it has been many years, I have 16 dives on Kyen pt. via the Rendezvous. Imagining the damage that happens with lost and abandoned nets around the world is sickening. Gill nets and seiners should be outlawed! Great work on cleaning up Kyen!!

You should list the name of the net owner. Start shaming them in public if they fail to report a lost net.
