Is the language of this song latinized gaulish? Or is the language so ancient that it's still close to the split-point of Latin and some other indo-european language?

@ballandpaddle as far as i know, its an adapted version of Gaulish that they kind of mashed together themselves. making it hard to translate or speak, seeing as how they basically did it themselves. but thats only what ive heard, i could be wrong.

@marko93477 if you are talking about the song and they truly are singing in gaullish then i highly doubt it. gaullish was an indo-european language whereas estonian is a Uralic language and closely related to Finnish. and as far as I know there are no celtic loanwords in the estonian language.

@MadManSnake0 @MadManSnake0 I don't know about estonian, but there is surely resemblance between celtic and baltic languages. I know that estonian is ugro-finnic language, like hungarian and finnish, but maybe it's connections with baltic languages (there surely must be many derivations) give that effect? Of course this may be only sounds, with diffrent meanings.

@SarRadetzky i doubt it but wouldn't rule it out. i mean if spanish, french and italian have become so different from the original latin and latin and gaulish were different languages (but the gauls could understand latin) and the daughter language speakers would see no resemblance (besides french which has many loanwords from gaulish and other celtic languages) i see no reason why a more distantly related language would have more resemblances.

yes this is a little softer than there usual stuff but still good find a place for it. there alot of heavy stuff out there, this makes a nice change. this works well as backgroud music when doing other things

I dunno about other languages, the word "idioma" is semi-sorta kinda used as "language" in Spanish - and therefore I assume Portuguese and Italian. So... It's not THAT big of a mistake, especially considering how he phrased his question seems like something someone translating from Spanish would say.

i think that spirit was the better album. Just coz they were more skilled that they were when they recorded Ven, but they didn't have sold out yet, so their sound wasn't influenced by market! Every album is good, and this one has celtic and ambient sounds I like so much. I like Omnos too, thought I see that's a commercial song... They did no song I don't like... I'm creating a Folk Black Metal project playin accordion and whistle... I hope you all will listen to our music XD XD XD
