  • Rage Sports - Bringing the Heat

    Perfect Hand Wraps.

  • k so my knuckles are in the middle of my wrap?

  • For anyone that doesnt like the way steve is training keep it to yourself because he was my kickboxing teacher in texas and he did a good job you think he is doin it wrong yet he is the middle weight world champion you think he isn't doing it right then why are you not in his position steve is a cool guy and a great teacher and i bet you anything if you were to step in the ring with him youd think twice before talking trash about someone you dont know

  • thanks very helpful

  • okay xD

  • hey sherlock spread your fingers !!!! ur so dumb who ever waches dis vid dont he is shit

  • @MrTurkishkickboxer Your an idiot, learn to type before you talk shit. Fucking dumbass! "who ever waches dis vid dont he is shit" Hahaha your fucking hilarious!!

  • Thanks, Helped alot !

I go around the wrist 3 Times, then Thumb/Palm, Knuckles & Fingers.

  • I have 3.5 meter long wraps and this wrapping style worked really well for me! Only i wrapped my whrists, paws & knuckles only 2 times each in the beginning, so that way my wraps were precisely long enough... Wraps felt good and really supporting.

  • Where did you buy those hand wraps? i want them in yellow.

  • thank god for your video cause quite frankly the Everlast picture diagram BS that comes with the wraps are complete bullocks.

  • @thehornypuppy. At the start where the hook is insted of putting it in your thump make a cushing for you nuckles. So you won't have to wrap it all the way up. !

  • I have a problem whit my knuckles .. even tough i wrap them all in afther a year hard training every day hitting on the mits .. i hurted my knuckles does any1 know what can i do to prevent more knuckle unjury when i'm back in shape? ( sorry for my bad english)

  • ....ok man its on the middle of a wrath!!!

  • I'm 1.65 m tall...i weight like...50 kg...i use 180 wraps and they don't bunch up a lot...but i have to go way up un my arm with them.

But i do like 3 or 4 layers in my wrist, palm and knuckles...and i also go around my fingers then an extra turn on my knuckles and then wrist until i run out of wrap.

  • nice! and it looks fancy

  • wow slow down man!!!!!

  • my wraps are less longer than yours so i wrapped wrist, thumb and knuckles 1 time less than you did

  • good for you :)

  • do u use 120" or 180" i have both and idk which one do use

  • @ript2damaxx use the 180 i use them and they are alittle better. more pad

  • @SuzukiRyder21911 thanks i found that out cause i screwed my wrist and my knuckles.... haha nice vid bro

  • 15 different fighters, 15 different ways? i'm lucky if i even wrap both hands the same way ;;

  • lol

  • belive this or not my dad teaches karate and he got a pro bxer to teach and he used to be ranked num 2 in the world

  • How long r ur bandages 40meters :D :D

  • Those are 180" (4.5meters) but I don't agree with this Way...because instead of wrapping the Palm he should have wrapped the thumb wich is most vunerable to break...I Say this because i have already broken my thumb for wrapping him...

    My opinion! =D

  • Correction!!!!

.......I Say this because i have already broken my thumb for """"NOT""" wrapping him...=D

    (of course!)

  • I agree, it feels so much better, tighter to wrap your thumb. You need longer wraps though. Its hard to find those, I had to special order them when I used to fight....

    :( I'm old... :(

    (kills self) ....( dead )

  • Yeah...I'm Portuguese and have only found one like those (180'') in one store on the hole damm country...and o had to order them by mail because it hasn't even close to my city...but they worth every penny!! =D

And you are never old to pratice combat sports... =)

  • rtelmo01, what you can do is sow two of the small ones together, just remove one of the loops. Saves you some bucks. Some friends felt they were too long. I did not mind it when using it for heavy bag work. Might be a pain if you have tiny hands. Anyway.. Keep on punchin bro.

  • @Subfightr idk where u are, but if you are going to import a longer wrap, that a look at brazilian ones. They are generally 4,5 to 5m long, and thats about 178-197".

  • thx for the tip bro

  • I fins this method works well for me, but everyone suits different methods, no one way works for everyone. I wrap a basic amount on my knuckles though adding more support to my wrist as i've bent it on the bags in the past.

The added support to your wrist will stop it bending if you catch the pad/bag wrong and prevent injury. I find a few quick wraps on my knuckles enough to prevent any cuts etc. and the criss cross adds stability and support to the main point of contact.

  • really nice video :D ! clear instructions .... understood it easily .

  • retard

  • good vid. i go round my thumb too. i will try try the crizz cross next time.

  • Very nice video, and very articulate and explanatory way of instruction. Thank you very much.

  • The speaker/author says, "This is just one of the basic ways." He's right. For every boxing or kickboxing coach out there, there's a slightly different method of wrapping the hands. Don't get hung up on finding "the right way" or "the best way," Drinkalcohol." There are many paths to the top of the mountain.

  • By far the best video on the subject I've seen. Can't believe nobody ells knows what a power line is. Thanks a lot for the video, but if its not to much can you make one with 108 in. wraps? There isn't even one on youtube.

  • several its only 3-5

  • it depends on what kind of wraps u have but still u never go several times

  • What do you mean you never go several times?

  • thanks for this video

it helped me a lot =)

  • There are thousands of ways to wrap your wrists , this one is nice

  • I liked the video it was really nice to follow and to understand the steps he did.

But still I kinda think its a kinda strange and too easy wrap, especially I dont check why he didnt wrapped into his middle finger..Oo

  • Thanks!

  • nice video, also a nice touch mentioning if the velcro is the wrong way at the end. well done.

  • Hi Steve!! It's Lana. Thank you for the pointers online. I'll be competing in my first competion in August--thank you for your inspiration all these years! I'm finally doing it!!

  • thankz.. that really helped =]

  • thankz.. that really helped =]

  • i definitely think it's a 180 and that seems to be the most common. i followed it with wrapping my hands and i have a 180. and i did exactly how many times he did it. =)

    hope that helped!

  • This is an eady way to do it. Thanks!

  • It's a Mexican Wrap, 110-180 inches, depending on your hand size.

  • Does kicking boxers that aren't Muay Thai kick trees too?

  • @kingdomkickboxing haha mexican wrap.. hmmm.. yummie xD

  • thats a kool wrap but yeah like that other guy said how long is it?

    thanx
