martin potter was the power man of pro surfen, occy was the style n power guy, and curren was the style, carrol was the tuber with the swollen lip and barton was a bit soft.

Because he doesn't have sponsors anymore... Why do you think we see more and more videos of Curren? There were just very few a little while back. What's changed? He's in the ripcurl team.
I think there are enough fans of Pottz and Curren out there but none of them probably with the time and skills to transform old VHS tape into youtube video. I have a bunch of them and will someday compile an awesome video of epic rides from those 2 guys.

@peteranton that sounds about right, notice how Occy is the only who specialized in two things? Better to say Pottz was the speed guy and curren was the low / smooth guy, because Occy owns the power.
