The good ol' days. I had this game as a present for christmas when I was a kid.

I opened it as soon as the clock struck midnight, and I played it from dusk till dawn for a year.

One of the most memorable games ever.

no mercy had more stuff for create a wrestler you cudnt even create custom chicks in 2000 but you could in no mercy. the only reason 2000 was better is because no mercy was just slower, you guys moved slower the gameplay was slower everything was slow

I wondered that myself, especially the way that wrestlers' entrances stopped at the ramp in No Mercy, but went all the way in Wrestlemania 2000. But I distinctly remember getting both games when they came out, and Wrestlemania 2000 came out a year beforehand. Just look at the rosters in both games: WM 2000 is the 1999 roster, while No Mercy is all 2000.

Very little changes. Except no mercy had limited "create a wrestler option" when 2000 had it all the way. And No Mercy had a running grab move that was so cool but was taken out for 2000. It was great but why they removed it, I don't know...

the good thing about this game is that some superstars are way harder then others and ppv are really hard on road to wrestlemania and each title is hard to earn so its realistic

The controls are easy. Hold A for a strong grab, then push C-Right to throw them out of the ring. THat is, if you are close to the ropes. The game is not button mashy, it's got very simpl controls to get used to. Even grab moves are easy. Just weak/strong grab and a direction with A or B. :)

Hold A to strong grab, point a diagonal angle on the dpad and hit C-Right I believe. You can move yourself close to the turnbuckle in a hold also.
