Another cool fact: There is another famous voice in the Haunted Mansion. If you listen closely to the singing busts in the graveyard scene you can hear Thurl Ravencroft the man who was the voice of Tony the Tiger and who sang "You're a mean one Mr. Grinch."

No, the face is of Leota Toombs a woman that used to work in the molding department of Disneyland. Walt thought she had the perfect face but thought her voice was too high pitched and sweet to be creepy enough for the crystal ball and so Eleanor Audrey (the voice of Maleficent) had her voice dubbed over Ms. Toombs' face. A cool fact though...the figure at the end of the ride telling you to "Hurry back!" is actually a mini Leota statue with Leota's actual voice!

While Madame Leota's voice was provided by Eleanor Audley, the face we see here is that of Leota Toombs. In Haunted Mansion Holiday, the face is Leota Toombs' daughter Kim Irvine and the successor of Eleanor Audley for the voice is Susan Blakeslee, who has also replaced Eleanor for Maleficent and Lady Tremain. Susan also voices Wanda on the Fairly Oddparents and is the current voice of the Queen/Witch from Disney's "Snow White".

Leota Ann Thomas( Formerly Toombs) was a WED designer(imagineer) and was the original Face of Leota in the Mansion. Eleanor Audley lent her voice. Leota's Daughter :Kim Irvine is also an imagineer/ designer now and has recently taken on her mother's role as the floating face of Madame Leota since the N.M.B.C overlay has been put in place.
