@kiwijohn01: Most Crossfitters are strong, even if they don't look the part. We don't do curls and pose in the mirror. We don't do barbell rows. We do functional lifts and exercises. We don't take a three minute break in between sets to talk to our buddy or look at a chic. Unless it's specifically a strength workout, there are hardly any rest periods and our workouts make even the fittest person hit the ground after the workout. We don't want to specialize in anything, we want to be good in all.
mannn, that looks intense! I've incorporated burpee into my non weightlifting days, and they just kill me! do you do the filthy 50 once a week or more?
I'm on my way to the gym to do this right now. This is one of my favorite work outs, and I have to agree with you that the push press seems wicked easy but burns like shit around rep 30.
Crazy weight? Just exactly what is 'Crazy weight'?
I bet you're the guy at my gym doing 2 hours of curls with 'crazy weight', but gets winded walking to his car.
By the way, we don't give a shit about what "props" you give or don't give. CrossFit has established training operations within US Marine Corps, the US Army, the US Air Force, the CIA, the FBI, and countless Police and Fire Departments around the country. Believe me, we got all the "props" we need.
I doubt anyone who can do 2 hours of straight curling gets winded walking to the car. I like some aspects of xfit workouts, but not a lot of the actual xfit guys. A lot of crossfitters seem to think that xfit is the best/ideal way to train and heavily criticize bodybuilders, powerlifters, etc. Crossfitters are incredible for their versatility. Powerlifters, strongmen, bodybuilders, sprinters, and other specialists are incredible for their specialty.
Don't knock a powerlifter for his cardio conditioning. He doesn't care. Don't criticize sprinter for his lack of endurance. He doesn't care. Train for what suits your goals best. If that's being the jack of all trades type, do crossfit. But don't look down on other training methods while making it seem like crossfit is the best way to train.
@Derek78787878 Nicely said ! Although I agree this is a killer fitness workout, (And I know I'll get flamed for this) but not many of the crossfit people look very strong... know what I mean? They look like runners who have stepped in to the gym. Obviously there is some bigger folks but in general... I don't know... ???
@kiwijohn01 thats the thing about crossfit its not gonna turn you into a power lifter type body but tone you down while all along getting stronger but your right most videos guys dont look strong but if you want to see some impressive lifting look up some Rob Orlando Videos, he is a body builder turned crossfitter who owns a crossfit gym near me and for a small guy he does some impressive stuff...
xHotDamnxHBx, I can understand your statement if by "results" you want to be fat and out of shape instead of lean and ripped. Othewise your statement makes zero sense but I give it props for non-sense.
Oh man burpee's....they get me everytime.

Good work mate..
Swing form looks off tho. It isn't a squat, flex at the hip more and pull the weight through from behind u with the power coming from your pelvis..
