@CarOnTheWall Yes, but the Z06 is probably one of the tackiest and most vulgar cars ever made, it is the super car tacky people or complete imbeciles buy, it also is biblically unreliable and on top of that it is made of plastic, how disgusting is that?
@MrMadpenguin "biblically unreliable" ? i assume this is from your own experience driving a Z06? what kind of problems did you have? i actually have driven a Z06 and it was fantastic. keep hating. it's the only entertainment you seem to have.
They are stunning, i got mine after first seeing it on top gear. Still got it an tho i can not use it as much as id like its always looking beautiful on my drive.. I would and will recomend one to everyone. I hope they continue making more.
@tjandmal I'd like to see the Americans build supercar performance from a Mondeo V6 engine. And it really doesn't matter where the car is assembled, it's where it was designed and engineered. Seriously, don't take credit away from Noble who make fantastic cars.
@tjandmal the f1 wasnt a baseline from the nsx gordon murry drove many cars to set the bar high for that car and most cars nowadays dont have theyre own engine, for example
veyron - VW engine
pagani - amg v12
gumpert, spyker, and many others audi 4.2 v8
they had made a couple road going but yea they are unreliable, but lets be honest, who buys a supercar for the reliablity
and ford just thought ot redo the gt and peice it by a lot of different cars. and many factories are in other countries
Yes but the bmw engine made for the maclaren only fits in that car. No where else. Besides if mclaren did make there own engine it wud cost around the £1million mark in 1993 wen it was produced. Look at the ariel atom models £25,000 for the honda engine version and a wopping £130,000 for ariels OWN v8 engine.
Is it me, or are cars made in sheds better than cars made by automotive giants. Koenigsegg, Ariel, Zenvo, Veritas, Noble, Gumpert, John Hennesy, SSC, Gillet, Caterham and Pagani to name a few. ( Note : Pagani started small, then they became huge. ) Anyone here with me on this?
i love cars made by small brittish companies because you can tell the people who made it really put their souls into it...............the results are brilliant

@StreikerJ because astons are some of the best looking and yes other cars can be pretty but the aston is in a league in its own. The TVR did this as a production car in the early and late 90s even out running the F1 for a bit till the F1 could spread its legs. Nobles are the best bang for buck when it come to a track car without looking like a ass THATS why they gave me the thumbs up
@daltonklinkenberg and it's not just the supercars...on offroad there's the defender..and when it comes to suv's threres nothing in the world that can beat the range rover.thre's nothing more imposing then that..on the luxury department ,there's the rolls and bentley...pardon my english ,please
@daltonklinkenberg Yea man I have to agree British sports/supercars are some of the most desirable on the planet. The McLaren MP4, Lotus Exige S, and Astin Martin Vanquish V12 come readily to mind!
@kj7687 - (Nobel15) No Warranty to speak of. Low Volume Production, Astronomical Maintenance Prices, No Remote Start, Heated Seats, OnStar, Limited Seat Adjustment, Interior Noise Decibiles are thru the roof, insurance costs (If you could find someone to insure you here in the States) in the six figures (Joking of course)... I can't figure out why the Brits luv to bash the (Vetts) when 98% have NEVER driven one??? Wonder how WELL MADE the Nobel would be if they sold 34,000 M15's a year???
@cognativoverlord Remote start, heated seats, Onstar, numerous seat adjustments, and low noise - all perfect examples of what true driving enthusiasts do NOT want in a Drivers' Car!
@kj7687 What do you drive on a daily basis a Stage Coach??? How does On Star, Heated seats with adjustments and remote start effect performance. Did you mean a track car or daily driver??? I was merly pointing out that a corvette has amazing performance that the Britts love to bash, and I can drive it from here in NC to Key west without my bottom turning numb and ears ringing for a week.
@cognativoverlord Price, for one thing. If the manufacturers spend a bunch of money on all that crap, performance will go down because that money will not be available to spend on performance. As for heated seats with a bunch of adjustments, and low noise, both add slight weight - the motors for the electronic seat adjustments, and the heaters, and the insulation to decrease noise. Of course the 100th of a second per corner that you might save on a track might not matter to "normal" people.
@daltonklinkenberg Actually, the Rossion Q1 is essentially a Noble M12. Noble sold the rights to the M12 after making the M15 (and falling off the radar until the M600) and the American company Rossion bought them. As for your list of British magnificence, expect to add a whole army of Lotuses in the next 5 years after they make their new Elise, Elan, Esprit, Eterne and Elite.
@me2ontube The M600 costs significantly more than the Q1. That said, I would suspect the Q1 to out-maneuver the the M600 b/c it weighs less and has greater downforce thanks to its ridiculous-looking splitters and spoilers. Now we have to watch out for Mr. Noble's new car company, Fenix (which he created after leaving Noble).
@marshknute thanks, i had no idea he was starting a new company - still, i wonder what mr collins outcome would be doing a comparison on the top gear track - exposed or not, nobody knows that track better than him although lewis did beat his time in the regular car
@daltonklinkenberg lol the mclaren f1 has a bmw v12, last time I checked they're German...aside from TvR and Noble, aren't the rest of those British companies owned by some German company anyway?
@sasat1986 yeah but the F1 was all done by McLaren and they chose the v12 in their car, they had their own twin turbo version but was to unreliable so they chose bmw, but most great cars dont have their own engine from the same company. and they all started british just owned by someone else. Lamboghini is owned by Audi but you wouldn't call a lambo german, same for gumpert, spyker, and even pagani
@3rni3PL thats not comparing apples to apples, the cars i stated are road legal and have air conditioning and a radio, a track car like the ultima is in a different class then these cars, its like saying an Audi R15 is faster then the corvette C6.R, the ultima was purly design for the track while not worrying about roads, while the cars I stated where all road cars, track cars are easy to make fast - big engine, and no weight. thats it. it takes true engineers to make a supercar
@bitchIZsalty yes it still is, the McLaren isnt all engine to be good. the veyron has a VW engine in it but its still a good car, same with pagani, who has a mercedes v12, or lamboghini with audis v10, the engines orgin doesnt determine if the car is a win or not. its a complete package
@bitchIZsalty It was a standard V12 BMW engine, that's it. McLaren took that engine and made it the fastest N/A supercar to date. Don't take credit away from McLaren through trivial details about where the engine was sourced from.
@daltonklinkenberg HAHA exactly! They're brilliant! They just sense that you want a fire and they sacrifice themselves for YOU, that's how amazing they are. And when the fire is almost out you can throw on the bits that peel off of a British Leyland car from normal driving and you need nothing else.
@FullyNimble dude they will even catch a piano for you! no other car will sacrifice them selfs like Morrises do! My Morris caught 2 panios (or panioes not real sure) for me!
@daltonklinkenberg Haha i saw that episode. It would've totally beaten that Aston Martin in that 24 hour race but it was too selfless and let itself take the fall by getting a piano dropped on it without even being asked to, the loyalty brings a tear to my eye.
@DjSuperSou1 the bmw engine was designed in Britain and the Aston martin engine cant be two welded V6's because that would mean its W12 same with the TVR
and lets not forget the new McLaren mp4-12c 3.8 V8TT with 600 hp...
If you look at F1 teams including foreign owned ones, You'll find most are based in the UK where the design, Development and innovation takes place, Including engines. Most of that will trickle down into production cars that you drive today.
The brits can build them but it's a case of cost. Why spend millions developing one engine for a small volume car when you can just buy one off the shelf and retune it yourself. BMW, Ford, Toyota arent complaining.
You have a right to an opinion of course But while all these car manufactures do use foreign Engines, the very same car manufactures also build their own for certain models. For example: New Lotus esprit , in house V8, New McLaren (as mentioned by many others), Bentley Mulsanne uses An Engine designed by Bentley/Rolls, Jaguar make their own Engines, Astons make their own, TVR also used its own inhouse Straight-six. You'll find that Brits have plenty of Engines.
I never said it was. It's an urban myth that they never criticise British cars - Hammond criticised the Ascari KZ1 for being "too serious". Clarkson said you'd have to be insane to want a Morgan AeroMax.
It's not just them. I've read Autocar's review for this and the Corvette, and it was the same story. My Dad's got a friend at work who drove a ZO6 in America, and he didn't mind the tyre roar, but he said the ride was way too hard.
Oh yes he does. Audi RS4: "Driven exclusively by cocks." Caterham R500 "Driven only by geeks and nerds." Noble M12: "That's not a car. It's a calculator." Proton Satrio-Neo: "This tunnel handles better than my car, and the interior is much more welcoming." So he does bitch about cars.
The M15 is 95% as good as the ZO6 on the track, and 95% better on the road. So you can have nearly as much fun on the track, and much more on the road. Ergo, better all rounder.
my cousin saw one of these driving around his neighborhood. fucking awesome cars. any clue how much money it costs to import one of these to the states?
But the M15 is the first Noble to meet all EU safety regulations, so I'm fairly sure it's legal. Plus one of my YouTube friends said he saw one in San Francisco.
Great car, very clever - similar time to a Z06 in fact. lol gives the F430 a good kicking. Nobles have always been quick because they weigh absolutely nothing...The new M600 will have the same power as an Enzo: 650bhp, but weigh literally half as much at 1000kgs, that's even less than a Mclaren F1, that's got to make for some wacky power to weight ratio...lol And it's going to be out next year...
yeah but the idea is this is pure performance.. hence less cost on luxuries that a Ferrari would have, personally I think when it comes to cars this fast there should be no luxuries
I'D BE DAMNED!!!this is richard hammond in the stig's suit, from the moment i saw the stig in the car he just looked wrong! and short and had funny shoulders but more important is the bit of hair at the back of his head under the helmet, and look at the way he grabs the steering wheel and the way he changes gear!!!and lets not forget that the stig never made this number of mistakes in a lap!! thats richard hammond 100%.plz make a comparison in this video and you will see its true!

and at the end of the day, you spent over $100,000 on a CORVETTE!
the noble is better looking easier to drive fast, the build quailty is better But...
slower then the corvette and everyone will think its something else (Lambo or something stupid) so its really opinion

lotus exige - tuned toyota engine
DBS - two welded ford V6
TVR - same story. two welded V6
Noble - tuned ford V6.
looks like brits do not know how to build an engine :D
DjSuperSou1 8 months ago
@DjSuperSou1 there is a lot more to a car then the engine...
daltonklinkenberg 7 months ago
@DjSuperSou1 the bmw engine was designed in Britain and the Aston martin engine cant be two welded V6's because that would mean its W12 same with the TVR
and lets not forget the new McLaren mp4-12c 3.8 V8TT with 600 hp...
They know what they are doing
FerrarisRock 7 months ago
@FerrarisRock lol... bmw engine designed in britain? that is trolololo post... and about those welded V6... READ MORE ABOUT THAT....
DjSuperSou1 7 months ago
@DjSuperSou1

@carbiify nobody is, but you just didn't get the irony and sarcasm from my post.
DjSuperSou1 6 months ago
@DjSuperSou1
Sarcasm is a form of insult or mocking. Your original engine post did give that impression.
carbiify 6 months ago
@DjSuperSou1 what about the McLaren mp4-12c ? the engine is british
ArrancarH0L0W 5 months ago
@DjSuperSou1

For those of you who say the Corvette ZO6 is better than this car - bear this in mind.
Clarkson had a huge list of faults with the ZO6; Hammond didn't have one criticism for this car. End of arguement.
NobleM15fan 2 years ago
so whatever they say is golden??? please
barchetta7550 2 years ago
I never said it was. It's an urban myth that they never criticise British cars - Hammond criticised the Ascari KZ1 for being "too serious". Clarkson said you'd have to be insane to want a Morgan AeroMax.
It's not just them. I've read Autocar's review for this and the Corvette, and it was the same story. My Dad's got a friend at work who drove a ZO6 in America, and he didn't mind the tyre roar, but he said the ride was way too hard.
NobleM15fan 2 years ago
yeah.. but hammond never bitches about cars.. and clarckson ALWAYS does.. hammond tested this car.. clarckson did not... re commence arguement.
StevoElsupremo 2 years ago
Oh yes he does. Audi RS4: "Driven exclusively by cocks." Caterham R500 "Driven only by geeks and nerds." Noble M12: "That's not a car. It's a calculator." Proton Satrio-Neo: "This tunnel handles better than my car, and the interior is much more welcoming." So he does bitch about cars.
The M15 is 95% as good as the ZO6 on the track, and 95% better on the road. So you can have nearly as much fun on the track, and much more on the road. Ergo, better all rounder.

Brit argument is "drivers car", Stig nearly had 2 accidents, 1 of them almost fatal, signs that the M600 will be a true death weapon

He was just damn hard on it, sometimes a car will make you too confident.

my cousin saw one of these driving around his neighborhood. fucking awesome cars. any clue how much money it costs to import one of these to the states?
DiscarnateByDesign 2 years ago
the problem for the us is not the price, it's safety equipement, that's why you hardly get cars like TVRs in the us
heramoth 2 years ago
But the M15 is the first Noble to meet all EU safety regulations, so I'm fairly sure it's legal. Plus one of my YouTube friends said he saw one in San Francisco.

the M400 cost $100,000 and theres the rossion Q1 which costs 109,000 only that rossion supercharges or Modify Noble cars only... Lol
