Currently the drive is set in XT mode. You may want to remove the 4th most jumper (from the left) and put it in the first most position to set ATA master before testing.
how many of that drives do you have? i think this is not the same drive as in your first video... after getting to track 0 and the break its quite quicker than your first drive... also, usb won´t mork... i tried it with the same drive, too and it never worked! just 2 possibilities which happen with usb are that a drive with more than 1 tb is displayed (because an error) or that it just isn´t recidnized by the computer...
It may not be the exact same number, but it's essentially the same drive. And I don't know if the USB-IDE adaptor will work or not, I'll have to wait and see.
@SpellboundSolution I've actually tried that before, and the problem I ran into is that a lot of USB dongles expect the drive to support LBA mode, which only started showing up around 1994. (LBA mode makes the firmware easier to write, see.) I don't think this old thing supports it, but an IDE to SATA dongle should work.
i have da same on ! ;)

I've got a "generic USB-ATAPI bridge" and it works fine for IDE, SATA, and some third big one I've not used yet. Best £15 I ever spent.
