hey, why does smooth focus ring marked as Con?

It's not smooth, it's rather slippery. Slippery focusing rings are harder to get precise focusing unless you have an arm of a robot. Zeiss lenses' focusing rings are super smooth and stiff.

Why do you need so many lenses when you're barely learning photography? Start off with 35mm 1.8 DX and take proper photography classes. Worry about building your skill before worrying about buying a truckload of lenses.

#1: Start with 35mm 1.8 DX — rent it out first to see and decide for yourself.

#2 and #3: Worry about these later — save yourself money for photography classes.

#4: We don't know because we don't take pictures for you. So, it's up to you.

wow! another quality review, please dont stop making reviews, I wish you could make one on the 85mm f1.4G but.. I know.. may not happen . But I still have to say that you are my favorite youtube channel, and I still very often use it as a source of reference and come back a lot for information, my due respect to your knowledge and no BS content. I have a small question though, I use Nikon NC filters (not UV) , any thoughts on them? thank you for the video and if ever in Mexico, Tequila is on me!

Nikon's glass filters are all high quality and as good as B+W and Heliopan. So, if you want to save some bucks, it'll do just fine.
