i think it's on the first island in the northwest or something like that (its a huge temple on the map) u have to go there after the first dungeon

its on mecay island the first one you start the game on just go to the big temple

It is on Mercay Island I think. You actually visit it multiple times like the Tower of Spirits but you do not fight the dungeon boss until the final visit. As you progress you get more items enabling you to venture deeper and deeper into the temple.

shoot the phantom that carries the key with an arrow, or if u have a lvl 2 power fary jus equip and kill the phantom

blue gards are the first couple of times when u enter the temple. red guards run faster...
