  • 3:40 snoop dogg

  • Armed robbery at 14? Jesus christ.

  • it was an act of violence .... somebody got they eye all fucked up

  • 12:55 haha who cut that guys hair.

  • man when you in the county jail you guilty till proven innocent fuck they talkin about bein innocent untill proven guilty

  • @anunknownbreed It's been guilty until proven innocent for a long time despite what anyone believes or will tell you.

  • "my gang" how many are there? about nine, are they all in here? no only three of us are in here, where are the rest of them? three dead and two out in the streets "there is not much of your gang left

    hahahaha what a gang!!!!!!!!!

  • We must understand prisons don't rehabilitate. Prison is a crime school. It's a game which can't be won like this.

  • 12:55 - Seriously, do they deserve to be treated like this? I mean, they are horrible cunts for what they have done, but they didn't even finish his haircut. I think that just describes what a hell bound place it is. I agree with an above comment. Treat them like animals and wrongly, and they will continue to act like animals. Poor cunt has the worst haircut in the world.

  • Them gangs in miayo ain't playing but if you killed a 18month old baby u deserve to die a painfully and burn in hell free Robert shaw!!!

  • @0601ac I take it you had a problem getting it through your thick skull? What were you in for? Buggery?

  • Comment removed

  • How long did it take them to get the "sir yes sir" rule... dopes.

  • LOL at 3:43 the white guy gets called mayonaise.

  • I love that he had to say its an act when they heard the shouts about " your mamma " LMAO!

  • LOL at 11:50 ... Louis just standing there! haha

  • That boot camp guy might be making "productive citizens" but he's also instilling a casual sexism. Calling them "ladies" is not such a good start to making a well-rounded human being.

  • DO SOMEONE KNOWS THE NAME OF THE MUSIC AT 5:30 ?

  • they didnt even cut that guys hair properly at 12:55

  • I think the fact that people are treated like animals by the government is precisely the reason why inmates continue to commit felonies once they get free. Of course there are prisoners who do things on purpose like rapists, pedophiles and serial killers but it's a fact the majority of them are forced to rob and steal because the government doesn't care, they only drive the interest of the global elite.

  • I guess it's not barbarianism if you're wearing camouflage

  • ha yes i cant tell the difference-same humiliating places

  • his eye got fucked up. lol.

  • TGK, Cable TV Hell Yeah. let watch OZ

  • the reporter is really cool =)

frist time a reporter got sooo near to inmates!

    hes pretty brave =)

  • I love these Documentaries.

  • Theroux seemed very angered when Tom Metzger used the word "nigger" in front of him during that episode-I wonder if he would feel different now after spending time filming these two episodes in Miami...?

  • the dude robert shaw, with the 'shank history' is a bullshit artist...he wasnt in there for murder, it was a burglary!..and he was released after serving less than a year. you can check his inmate page on the florida dept. of corrections website. w w w .dc.state.fl.us/InmateReleases/detail.asp?Bookmark=2&From=list&SessionID=887169526

  • @Uprising771 thats true :P what a lying geeza :D

  • @Uprising771 It says on the site "This information was current as of 12/30/2005", the documentary is more recent

  • @ibnalnil yes, i checked, this documentary was made in 2011...so he is back in the jail awaiting trial...but i still think he was lying his ass off...

  • @Uprising771 just google his name + triple murder, the case is well reported in the local media

  • @ibnalnil yeah,i checked it. my assumptions were wrong

  • I'm watching this in anticipation of his new documentary on BBC2 9pm tonight!

  • 00:45 and those guys are facing the deaf penalty. :P Why do they have to give them tinnitus as well?

  • @lissheim I dont think they are the ones facing death penalty

  • @JJsmallz I wrote DEAF penalty because those guys were screaming into their ears, it was just a bad pun.

  • 12:54 Shaven Head fail

  • "it was an act of violence, one got their eye... fucked up"

    the bureaucratic english ended there

  • @valdemaren lmfao i laugh everytime i hear that

  • Movies and tv cop shows etc always make out that criminal possess some kind of animal smarts, that they're intelligent in some green way. But this, and every other documentary like it I've seen, just proves that 99% of villains are thick as pig shit. Lazy cunts too.

  • What shocks me is the lack of remorse by the inmates.

  • louis looks very suave with his coat/scarf

  • @MegaFatWalrus haha I was thinking the same thing

  • 11:41, any dogs in the house?? lolol

  • FREE MY BROS DENAREUS

  • American jails- breeding serial killers, rapists and people without a normal future, sending them to boot camps and then maybe to Istern lands, so the rest of the world can get a feal of that also...

  • so glad i live in the uk,,,usa is full of the worst animals in the world.i have a dog that has more brains than this sorry lot.

  • All of Louis Theroux Documentaries are awesome. Thumb's up if you agree

  • @WhispersNz thumbs up for the documentaries because that's what the like button on the video is for and thumbs down for your begging.

  • 6:20 Name Robert shaw hahaha Same name as the actor from the film Jaws look at his teeth..

  • @bazatc01 HAHAHA too good..

  • Comment removed

  • treat people like animals and they behave like animals

  • Comment removed

  • @feynman30 they behaved like animals first

  • @feynman30 They are treated like animals because THEY ARE animals. We don't lock nice people up.

  • @LAVA666666 You're an idiot, somebody's circumstances largely determines how "nice" they are

  • agree but track it back, most of these guys come from mega-dysfunctional families.

e.g;most have dumb mothers or fathers.

    children copy whats around them...

some people should never have children-but there the ones most likely to breed-go figure

  • they were animals before they went to prison.

  • @Dandybear02 Doesn't mean you have to treat them that way. In Denmark we have proper jails, not like the Alcatraz-ones. Here in my country every cell has a tv and a desk, and doesnt share a cell. They did something wrong, they need a penalty, but they're still human, even though they killed someone or whatevz they did

  • @feynman30

Yeah don't ask yourself how they got there or anything.

  • @feynman30 Let those animals out of the cage and see what happens...

  • 11:49 Epic Face

  • Don't you find that ironic how these correctional officers are suppossed to represent law & order (or be members of society who inmates should look up to) and yet it looks as if they are the ones who are savages and animals. I mean, I think I have a different approach, but we should set an example for prisoners who want to change, like these young kids. By shouting and other emotional abuse you create animal.

  • Have the people on here Levin comments will not last a night in jail are bootcamp

  • johnny jackson looks and sounds like kevin levrone

  • D'Angelo Barksdale at 00:50.

  • Them clothes has got laundry numbers on 'em. You remember your number and always wear the ones that has your number. Any man forgets his number spends a night in the box. [passing out spoons] This here spoon you keep with you and any man loses his spoon spends a night in the box. There is no playing grabass or fighting in the building. You got a grudge against another man you can fight him Saturday afternoon. Any man playing grabass or fighting in the building spends a night in the box.

  • His eye was f"#$% up. I like it how he says it like that so calm and collected I mean.

  • HE SAID FUCK HAHAHAHAA LOUIS SAID FUCK

  • *live*

  • jail is for the dumbasses who get caught the reason i say most inmates are black is because whites will commit but not make a living out of it blacks will lie off theiving call me racist it harsh reality 13% america black 60% jail population black it clear too see who the criminals are

  • the one who was talking one on one with the interviewer when the other DI's were talking about some ones momma was trying to hold back a smile but it didnt work lol

  • It's quite disturbing how much these boot camp instructors appear to enjoy their jobs. Maybe they're promoted to become police officers.

  • I was in Miami dade bootcamp n 09 it change my life for the batter

  • 11:50

  • "there was a incident, a act of violence...some bodies eye got fucked up"

  • Maybe I'm wrong, but I can't imagine three people shouting over the top of each other in your face helps you to become a better citizen. Maybe it does, but if it was me I would probably build up a lot of anger and let it out on the outside.

  • 15 MONTH BABY KILLED. DAMN

  • @AlizeCiz didn't he say the guy who was killed had a 15 month old babY?

  • @ChannelingusXIVC

They should be doing job training and education instead of just yelling and exercise. Poverty is the number one indicator of crime.

  • @mfentruck education and job training apparently do not work.. for these kids,,,

    they need tuff luv...

  • @izaccy and with a world of youtube facebook and twitter what a future we can look forward too for our kids..

  • @izaccy

Education and job training can be tuff luv too if you do it right....make them do laplace transforms!

  • 6:03 casey anthony, o.j simpson,

  • 12:54 Were can i get a haircut like that?

  • SHIIIIIT I SAW A WHITE GUY

  • When he talked about his gang, and Louis said not many left. I see regret and pain in his voice. It's a shame when you see people like that. Such.. wasted talent and life.

  • @Osealey yeah he should have at least joined the crips or something

  • His eye was fucked up hahaha

  • You see the red dislike bar? That's ur penis compared with the blackmen penis in Miami Jail.

  • Prisons in England are holiday camps compared to prisons in america!

  • @dpostuk agreed i was in belmarsh max security for affray and serious assault i went in nov 12 10 got out may 18 11 total holiday camp play stations free view serious.

  • Louis was trying to get a fight started about 7:15 in

  • I am not american. But I am seeing a lot of africans there. Africans are like 12% of the total population of US right? But they seem to be 70% of the total population in jail. That makes me think lol..

  • lol @ 11:50...His face is like...OMG.

  • LOL 11:50 "....>_>"

  • Whats the name of the song at the beginning??

  • @ChannelingusXIVC none of those caged animals were productive citizens even before they were locked up. and none of them desires to be.

  • @DankWin so you say

  • thanks 4 uploading

  • Bootcamp looks like a BS program.

  • @wotg

    It isn't even effective :p

  • SGT EDGECOMB 12:50 where the fuck HODGE BITCH ASS AT?????

  • "cause we're all criminals, vicious animals", that answer pretty much all theroux's questions has about that place

  • so you guys are so quick to condemn, while it is a fact that no one of us actually knows wether any of those inmates are guilty or not. I think this is what Theroux tries to establish not jugding those people since they are not convicted. As a matter of fact the prisons are probably full of innocent people. Anyone of us could end up in a detention center accused of some crime we possibly didnt do..

  • Obviously you are missing the whole point behind the concept of bootcamp...if you ever went trough regular bootcamp in the marines/army(especially marines) you would understand why..

To be honest THE hardest thing in bootcamp is actually to learn how to keep a straight face all the way trough graduation:P

  • Louis theroux, those man are there of murder not a hospital!! no sympathy

  • somehow i feel sorry for that guy in 9:53 he a smart kid but he was raised with snakes like he said later on in the episode. May god forgive him for his sins

  • Comment removed

  • At 9.53 that tough guy is seriously scared (and so he should be!)

  • I never laughed harder, "dogs in the house" "rrararrararararar"

  • Comment removed

  • @welcomehome901 Seriously. Think before you post.

  • @welcomehome901 Seriously, think before you post.

  • @gnarkillkicksass not a stroke but dey smoked da shyt out of us

  • "There's not much of your gang left" LOL classic

  • lying asz nigga...dey sho did put deyy hands on us...puss asz d.i's

  • @Bizzybone435 Have you had a stroke?

  • americans are partially rediculous especially those boot-camp-guys XD

  • Boot camp should be replaced with 2 years in the actual army.

  • @gnarkillkicksass To further exacerbate the gang problem within the military? That doesn't seem like a better solution.

  • @kerrie1234567890 Oh true, I didn't know there was that kind of problem in the States.

  • lolz @ not much of your gang left. i dont know whether to laugh or cry. so sad.

  • Louis Theroux, what a legend!

  • The British goverment should have the choice of a Boot camp for younger offenders aswell.Think it would do them the world of good.

  • 'He's a hateful person I guess' Those two are comedy

  • the two inmates at 7:10 who are cell neighbors need their own sitcom

  • i would hate to live in america, they lock u up until ur proven innocent but then u have to commit crimes in prison to protect urself, it makes no sense, in england and ireland ur free until ur sentenced. i think only the rich can get out on bail

  • @libertineoverdose88: I don't think you understand America. The vast majority of those awaiting trial do get out on bail. Only a small percentage are jailed without bail set by a judge or with bail set extraordinarily high . Those awaiting trial on the most serious crimes, flight risks, and those who cannot get family or friends to get a bondsman to post bail may sit in jail until trial.

  • @libertineoverdose88 ''in england and ireland ur free until ur sentenced''... erm, no you're not! Same rules/common sense apply in all countries, if there's enough evidence/suspicion to remand a potentially dangerous person... that person's staying in jail until proven innocent! Isn't fair for the people who are genuinely innocent but that's the price some people have to pay for the growing number of sick bastards and idiots swanning around, doing stupid things

  • @libertineoverdose88 u get bail in America, and u can be locked up until sentenced in england, for both it depends on the severity of the crime and in some cases in America if you have the money.

  • nianthony didnt get bail cos of attempted murder with deadly weapon-& he confessed to it

    search; nianthony martinez miamiherald

  • Thanks for uploading Iplayer is shit.

  • Louis looks scared when he first goes to the boot camp!

  • I love Louis' interviewing skills. Louis' questioning is exemplary and unique to other interviewers, really asking the questions that WE want to ask. What do you stand for? My gang Who's your gang? Criminal Ground Who's in the gang? My lil' gang members How many are there? Three of them are in here Where's the rest of them? About two of them on the street There's not much of your gang left? Nah
  • 12:53 um someone doesnt know how to use clippers

  • whilst their crimes are appalling, i can't help but feel a sense of sadness for these people.

  • Thank you for the upload. :)

  • Thanks for uploading, I am a big fan and collect Louie docs, missed episode 2 and as I live in France, iPlayer is not an option !!

  • Louis face at 11:50

    Priceless

  • I love how anyone who is ever interviewed by Louis is always looking up! :)

  • lol @ "his eye was pretty f*cked up" then dude goes back to speaking proper English

  • the time suspects spend in custody while a trial is prepared can be startling. it's scary to think about when a person is innocent, just how many years of their lives they stand to lose waiting for the court system to handle their case.

  • @jenzeppelin: It was pointed out in episode 1 that it is ordinarily the suspects and their lawyers who delay court in hopes witnesses will move away, fail to recall events, etc. They attempt to drag on a trial saying they need more time to prepare.

  • thanx for upload enjoying it thumbs up
