  • This the most beautiful guitar plalying ever. Most definitely when your ripped

  • es una mamada, ponle, una de reggueton ya tu sabe tengo todo el flow en las venas

  • @ThePhantomTerror Page can time travel, His wicked guitar skills can rip holes in the space-time continuum allowing him to travel at will through the ages.

  • I walked down the isle to this at my wedding. Partner of 17 yrs and I am a whole big 32 yrs! Such a captivating and magical piece of music, that really told our story.

  • @crustybackfat nice mate

  • Can anyone tell me the tabs for drums?

  • One word describes this song! MAJESTIC!!!!

  • @MegaZephead You sure got that right.LED-ZEPPELIN "RULES"!!!! ROCK ON!!!!!

  • How Can anyone dislike this?

  • BEST 2 MINUTES OF LIFE

  • This song makes me sleep *.* wonderful

  • Going to walk down the isle to this :) <3

  • Probably their best song, with "Stairway to heaven"...

  • I like to Dissect girls,Did you know I'm utterly insane?

  • It does not need lyrics. It's already beautiful.

  • I played this song in the hallway in my school the halls got quite and everyone was starring at me while I am just sitting there playing this and at the end it was a silence and everyone was awstruck and then they all cheered and from that day on I was know as the guitar guy and the man who passed on Jimmy Page's teachings at my school.

  • @Spartan2636 and you would know that my personal life is bullshit how?

  • @chazzman1900 for the simple reason that no one and i mean NO ONE would call anyone the man who passed on Jimmy Page's teachings except the man himself

  • Comment removed

  • @Spartan2636 I was called guitar guy or dude I meant to say I was known for not known as

  • @chazzman1900 OK that's believable. Sorry if I looked like a jerk, I just over-react a lot.

  • @Spartan2636 Its alright ^_^ I understand why you would get upset with that

  • @chazzman1900 Em sorry to say, but Spartan is right. there is no way anyone would call you that.

  • @Ledzepplinisawesome your right they didnt call me the man who passed on Pages teachings but they do call me guitar guy or guitar dude but when I said that I was also known as the man who passed on Pages teachings it meant through music not but unfortuanetly there are a handful of kids in my school who listens to Zeppelin and they are the only one that know this song so they appreciated me spreading zeppelin around so thats what I meant I should have said I was known for not known as the man

  • Best song ever

  • Want to get a good feel for the peaceful setting that inspired this song?

Go to google maps and type "Bryn Yr Aur, Llandderfel, Bala, UK", and it should bring you right there.

Relax and navigate around. It'll do you good.

  • reminds me of a peaceful early morning snowfall

  • Always reminded me of a nice autumn afternoon motorcycle ride in the country.

  • For the longest time, I thought this was two guiitars, until a guy I knew showed on his guitar that it is only one. What dexterity.

  • Pra encerrar a sexta-feira e iniciar o sábado. Como sempre, acho a música sem querer.

  • If this was the last song I heard before I died, I'd die happily and peacefully.

  • Having seen Page and Plant live many times I will reveal this .They are Rock Gods . Rock Gods .

  • I walked down the aisle to this! Love this recording!

  • Greatest Page's composition.

  • I've pressed repeat like 7 times already. this is amazing.

  • @XenoType008 I often wonder if The Beatles were influenced by Zeppelin's debut when they recorded Abbey Road in '69. Zep's first album is out in January of that year and I Want You and Oh Darling are definitely in that vain. McCartney did a terrific job on Oh Darling. Almost like he had two entirely different voices then (the sweet one and the raunchy one). Quite amazing. I love 'em both!

  • @streetparade I would have thought The Beatles songs would have been written years in advance, so i'd assume its just a strange coinsidence.

  • I want this song to be played at my funeral.

  • @Guerrillablackdog that can be arranged, do you have a date in mind?

  • @Guerrillablackdog had the same thought moments ago xP

  • fantastic gutar playing

  • This son makes me cry in a good way,

  • it's pronounced bronariar

  • umphrey's mcgee does an awesome live rendition...someone should post it

  • @leatherneck0005 Umphrey's McGee is the SHIT

  • So beautiful it's almost disturbing.

  • that was amazing. that is jimmy page...

  • this song gives me hope for the future

  • Bought the cd just for this track :))

  • @ledzeplinchesh Dude this album is amazing from start to finish...every track is good

  • I saw heaven listening to this

  • I bet that this is the music played when you see the light

  • a six string guitar strung perfectly for a muther fucking genius!!

  • From WIkipedia:

"It should be noted that this article states that this song was recorded in 1970, and that Jimmy Page used a 1971 Martin D-28 acoustic guitar to record it. Jimmy Page can apparently time travel."

    Hahaha........

  • @ThePhantomTerror haha that's awesome.

  • @ThePhantomTerror

you don't think he could've gotten an advance model? boy, you just sit there w/the know-it-all stance w/out any conscience grasp of the way things really happen to work. congrats, monsieur

  • @mezzetin1 ok

  • @ThePhantomTerror I bought a '97 plymouth in '96,,,

  • @ThePhantomTerror Well they sell 2012 model cars in 2011

  • @ThePhantomTerror You didnt know that? lol

  • haha Lyrics:

    **Nothing**

  • The VATICAN lies. Let's see how long before i'm dead. I'm Shane Goodsky disagreeing that women are less important as men in new found "scroll of the dead" found 1947 and 1956 on the northwest shore of the Dead Sea.

  • Scottish and irish rights are givento these the most

  • scottish and irish get to love this song the most,,am i wrong,,,,,NO Rosylyn tower

  • Lyrics of jimmy page

  • dam that beautiful

  • Rush????????????? You gotta be kidding! there like something someone chipped outta Led Zeppelins jockstrap!!

  • @ScottCrott Led Zeppelin fanboys being inherently smug, as always. You really must like sloppy guitar playing

  • @irena7777777 Sure, say its sloppy, But thats kinda his thing. He is sloppy enough to get in just about every top 5 guitarist poll ever. Creating a genre doesn't make you great. Primus created whatever it is they did, and they arent on Zeppelins level. Zeppelin did music for almost every genre out there and did it great. Haters gonna hate, slaters gonna slate.

  • @Bubonikron I don't hate them, I enjoy their music but I maintain that they are unoriginal and extremely overrated. Pink Floyd are far more unique, have that amazing inimitable sound, and have a better guitarist.

  • @irena7777777 You must be on crack...

  • @bacala777 Why? Because I reckon Gilmour is better than Page? Actually, I think you'll find that the Guitarist Magazine agrees with me here, seeing as they place Gilmour as their greatest guitarist ever, above Hendrix. An effortless solo from Gilmour is better than anything Page has ever done.

  • @irena7777777

but you haveto weigh in Pages magestic and magical parts. Gilmour as well. Hendrix did 2 or 3 very famous songs,,,god bless him,,,but he comes no where near,,,Page, Gilmour, and Harrison.

  • @sav888 George Harrison? There's far better guitarists than him I think. What about SRV and Satriani, Vai and Petrucci?

  • @irena7777777 Being able to pick at a million miles an hour doesn't make you a genius on the giutar. Listen to the Beatles again. George was the quiet man in the corner, who was mostly ignored due to the blatant exhibitionism of Lennon & McCartney. If you've never noticed or considered his playing before, maybe THAT'S what makes him a god in some peoples eyes. Try listening to some Travelling Willbury's as well. You might just reconsider (I hope).

  • @OhNonottheNWO He's my favourite Beatle. He's a great guitarist, just think there's many better. Abbey Road was his album, I reckon.

  • @OhNonottheNWO sry man, Beatles r great. But musician wise, they dont even come close to zeppelin.

  • @irena7777777

What kind of idiot bothers ranking classic rock bands?

  • @Meibukan Being rhetorical, are we? Clot

  • Youtube comments are like mosh pits for internet nerds.

  • And, no, I didn't dislike this, bassmanjoe. Trust me, there are many people who dislike Led Zeppelin, but I'm not one of them. Still, Rush are better.

  • Comment removed

  • @irena7777777 Are you serious? Led Zeppelin and the best band ever, along with The Beatles. That's not opinion, it's solid fact. Literally they have been the most influential, and have structured music in the context of music beyond that of any other band. Rush are good but to say they are better than the best is just crazy

  • @Fatb0ybadb0y It's not 'solid fact'. This isn't some mathematical equation with a definite answer. Pink Floyd are more musically creative, even. To say that Zep ripped off a ton of music from old blues musicians would be like saying Hitler killed a couple of people. I love Led Zeppelin but I don't get stickiness in my pants over them like some people. They were good but not ground breaking. To be ground breaking you had to have created a style of music, which they of course didn't.

  • @irena7777777 u mad bro *trollface*

  • @irena7777777 Also Pink Floyd is a great band. Just not quite on LZ's level.

  • @Bubonikron Hahahahaahahahahahahaha (chokes, wipes eyes) hahaha hahahahahahahahahahahaha. Dark Side of the Moon...In the album charts for 741 fucking weeks, man! That's more than 14 years! But of course, now a real music expert has arrived, we can all see how deluded millions of people were back then.

  • My sister walked down the aisle to this song :)

  • Anybody about to take their life on hearing this song would see hope and seriously reconsider. It's so beautiful (the song and life)!

  • AMAZING.This is not music,it's magic

  • Might not be on paper anywhere, but I'm almost positive Jimmy was influenced by Nick Drake. You can hear it in this song.

  • this is the soundtrack when we enter the heavens ! :D

  • This is such a beautiful song. This along with Embryonic Journey,by Jefferson Airplane, have so much beauty to offer words would just be in the way.

  • close but it actually means "chest of gold".

  • their most beautiful tune Page is Magik

  • @1regend Damn straight!

  • @1regend to me : Nr 1 of ALL rock guitarists

  • @1regend True. Plant's vocals are awesom, Bonham is killer on drums, and Jones tears it up. I gotta say, I can't listen to this song only once. Page is the premier guitar player in history. I was fortunate enough to see him and Plant on tour in Nashville; they played all Zep songs. It was like a dream come true.

  • @pcfriedrich So right and glad for you to see him live!

  • what does bron yr aur mean?

  • @10razonesgh Welsh for "golden hill", "breast of the gold" or "hill of the gold";

  • @Gedd0 it actually means, "almost gold"

  • @Gedd0 I think it's Welsh for "Almost Gold" :D

  • music beyond lyrics. (:

  • led zeppelin is the best rock and roll band of all time they were way before there time and they fucking rocked it.

  • My favorite Zep-song. You can name any of their great rockers but this one just gets to me.

  • i used to play this song over and over when i was pissed off ,... and i usually got over it... lol

  • Who is the genius disliking this marvelous song?

  • no words can describe this

  • Jimmy's guitar work is amazing. It sounds like angels are playing this song. ;)

  • press F5 for....

  • Stairway To Heaven is the best Led Zep and Rock Song ever ? Which idiot guy said this crap ? Bet he never listened to Physical Graffiti.

  • @GeneralEisenhower Don't make a fool of yourself and stop posting idiot comments on youtube. And i belive that the "idiot" who said "Every musician wants to do something of lasting quality, something which will hold up for a long time and I guess we did it with "Stairway"" was Jimmy Page.

  • @Luxmaxnike

why cant you just stop this foolish replying of comments ? I just said that it's very stupid to say that Stairway to heaven is the best song, also its ignorant. So shut up ! You got your opinion to that, i've got mine, basta.

  • in this song they were able to play with light. jimmy page, wizard producer and guitarrist. thanks

  • THIS-SONG WILL PLAY AT MY FUNERAL????????????

  • There's a tune, Opportunity by T.J. Baden (of Baden guitar fame), that reminds me of this one. This song was done earlier but they're both outstanding guitar instrumentals and if you like this classic, you'll probably like that one too.

  • @chuxtuff Actually T.J.'s Opportunity sounds more like Zep's "Going to California". (just my opinion)

  • Leo Kottke...

  • J.P doesn't want to sacrifice anyone. He is just more curious Than most in the Mystic. His questions are too proufound for oh.. I suppose about 97% of the population. I Love Beck, I Love Eric, I Love Trout, I love Guitars. But nobody ever did what Jimmy did. Nobody in the Guit Bus ever demanded the perfection that Jimmy did. Yes! this is a song that will live far past you and I. Sure as Starry Night, sure as M.A. Sistine Chapel. Rember when you listen, this is a gift to us from a Mortal Man.

  • ) that would be a problem with religion as we concieve it. J.P. dosn't want to sacrifice anyone. Or any of the stupid shit you hear or have heard. He believes in the Mystic. He is on another Plane than most. He has logical thoughts about What is and What Should Never Be. Get It. The only U.S. citizen that could talk to Page ( and bs trusted,) was Cameron, He Was Seventeen. Shows we a race of Idiots we were (and still are.) This song will stand before us sure as The Tales of Ulysses.

  • @Stoshmon1 go write a blog or something and spare us

  • When Robert J.P. and John first heard this, their jaws dropped. Their nods swelled, some cried some smiled and when Grant heard it he almost dropped to the floor and the side of him that few people ever knew, knew that this was sent to Jimmy from the Gods. It is very few< Bach, Handel, ect.. that were ever blessed with Notes like this. The arrangement is simply un Earthly.Yes hey should play this in Church. That would be my kinda Church. But.. Jimmy lives (and has for a long time In A.C.s House

  • :")

  • it's funny how this and black mountain are the same length. two peaceful songs.

  • cor blimey,they were good

  • They should play this in church.

  • @m4kes0meno1se Um, beautiful song, but Led Zeppelin weren't known for their good deeds lol. They were known for their music.

  • @Ishotjustinbeiber yea i know i was just saying how great and peaceful this song is and that and it sets that mood you know?

  • @m4kes0meno1se I know heehee!

  • Beautiful melody...always reminds of that scene in Song Remains the Same when they're riding in the limo through New York City.

  • I would love to have seen Plant, Bonham & Jones' reaction when Page said to them, "Hey, what do you think to this..?" (Cue silence and cheeky grins) Stunning piece.....

  • mesmerizing, haunting, beautiful.

  • I'd seriously give up my wife to play like this!!!

  • @robbie2737 i hope she did'n see that 'cause you'd be in deep shit

  • @adikjacksonguitar *

    didn't

  • @robbie2737 It's not hard with practice. I just learned it myself. It's easier than it sounds, thats the beauty of Jimmy Pages' playing. It isn't difficult, he just structures it so it flows beautifully.

  • /watch?v=87V6kuOkpPs

  • Jimmy Page is an amazing guitarist!

  • This is definitely in my top of short compositions !

  • ZOSO!!!!!!

  • It is the most beautiful song i have ever heard. THANK GOD FOR SENDING THIS GUITAR ANGEL, JIMMY PAGE!

  • Sensacional!!! Um dos solos mais interessantes, instigantes e gostosos que já ouvi na vida. O album Phissical Graphitti do Led é algo maravilhoso. Pra mim o melhor disco deles.

    I love it.

  • I bet this is what you hear when you die and pass into the afterlife.

  • @pmtackett14 If so, then I am not afraid to die anymore.

  • @pmtackett14 With this tune at end of my earthly days I would welcome the afterlife with arms wide open...Led Zeppelin till I die

  • @SanktPauliandWolves Rush are better

  • Comment removed

  • @bassmanjoe Do I stutter, mutherfucker?!!!

  • How can just two minutes of guitar make me feel so many emotions and get teary-eyed?

    Page is how.

  • @ALEXisSPANISH EXACTLY. Great Analysis on your part

  • This is THE BEST GUITAR SOLO EVER! This solo can be used in so many ways! Jimmy out did himself on this little solo!!!

  • first time i heard this song years ago was when watching the film song remains the same and watching NY city streets and buildings go by and was mesmerized by this musical piece, i wish page wrote more songs in this style

  • This song just takes you away to another place

  • Page at his prime.

  • This track brings me back to Old England. It sounds like it's from the 1500's. It is amazingly unreal and I think it's my favourite song by this ubelieveably fantastic band. The name Bron-YR-Aur i think means "golden breast" an old town in Wales, I believe, and the singer's family used to go on vacation there (i read something to that effect) and the guitarrist liked it alot, too.

  • Who is Bron Yr Aur? Sounds like the next Prime Minister of Israel...or something.
