F1 Savannah boy playing fetch

I have a mongrel Savannah...Pippen, he would be like an F87 of lineage purity, but we traced him back ;)!! The first thing that got me interested in tracing his lineage was when he started playing fetch?!? Aside from that, the "open-mouth" smelling face, measuring EXTREME lengths when stretching out, the ears, the nose marks, and the "bark" or serval-creepy meow! Im interested in where you acquired your cats. I want to add a Sav to the fam, but only from reputable breeder, ya know? AMAZING CATS!

THe Savannah cat can be brought from breeders at about 1k$+ depending. To the guy above, yes it's a pricy breed, but honestly, it's probably still worth more than your SPCA. You can't beat quality. Who doesn't love a huge cat?

Beautiful Savannah cats you have. Basically, I did the same thing - fling it and return - I used to save the round plastics from the milk bottles and ping it across the threshold and my Siamese cat would run after it and bring it back up to me like a puppy and we'd do it 10 times in a row. I really enjoyed your video - it reminded me of old times.

@ThermalSh0ck an F1 litter had one serval parent and one domestic cat. I think male savannahs might be sterile for a couple of generations, so i'd assume an F2 litter would be from a female savannah bred with a domestic cat, same deal with F3, F4, F5.

Dunno the exact percentages, but the more a savannah breeds with a domestic cat the less % serval the offspring would become. If you bred an F1 savannah with a serval then the % would be pretty damn high, (probably too high? I dunno)

awe... my Bengal used to play fetch. he pretty much stopped playing with me when I got him a "little brother", my Siamese mix. now they just play together. that was the idea anyways, to give him some company when I wasn't home.
