saw them at reading fest 2005 when they were second headliners on the mainstage and they fucking ripped it, thefieldwas packed, crowd was mental and the whole energy was intense. Oh and they fired marshmallows into the crowd with cannons cos they said we looked under nourished, it was hilarious. Was at leeds fest this year and i cant believe how much the crowd pussied out, was the same with deftones to echo others on here: shame on you leeds/reading!

I was there and im telling you the crowd was a lot more insane then it looks here. It was by far the most packed crowd at the festival apart from Muse at the very end. I literally couldnt get my arms above of my head because of the pressure. Me, and my friends thought it was one of the highlights.. music and crowd wise.

I went to Leeds and was letdown by the crowd there too! There was like one section (that I could see of anyway coz i was quite near the front) that were going mad and everyone else was just stood there like lost puppies!! WTF IS WRONG WITH THE WORLD?! Who cares that it was 'muddy' or if they'd have lost a welly jumping!! haha. I only paid £190 (however much it was) to camp for The Offspring! They were amazing anyway.

@jadeeesummer we went from germany to reading. Come to Hurricane it's a good festival in the north of Germany. Here the crowd goes insane. I'm half british but I live in germany. Really I was quite Disappointed by the crowd thought reading would be like the biggest and craziest crowd I've seen so far but nope this year definitely the english crowd lost to Germany. Thinking of heading Next year again hopefully the crowd jumps a little more...

the crowd was fucking awful the whole time. i was right at the front for deftones and offspring and no one wanted to dance or mosh or sing or anything. but then they are relatively 'heavy' bands whereas the rest of the weekend was indie/alt etc. that and everyone is about 14.
