  • Thank you, hydrocutty; love this song. It jams (Bill Berg's a great drummer), it's lyrically snappy, and even a little creepy (because of the thought of a big truck speeding down the road with an exhausted driver "speeding", too). Started singing along with the chorus first time I heard it in '75, and it still has that effect on me.

  • Glad to hear that. It was great times in Omaha. His daughter Nancy used to invite us to go swimming at his place. My dad was caretaker of NP dodge park at the time and they lived a short distance away. Right up the hill. Please pass along my regards. To Nancy too. It was a good time.
