Sending the video to the corporate office is the quickest solution, however, don't cities in Australia have health inspectors? In the U.S. the health inspector would close down a place like this until it was cleaned up. No excusing the help, they have the responsibility to shut down the store until its cleaned, the manager should be fired. And who would buy anything in a pig sty like that? The place must spell like garbage.

I was a McDonald's Manager in Belfast and we got a pub rush that trashed the place worse than this. 1000 pound hours and so many people that staff couldn't get to the rubbish until the customers left.
Management 4 som reason thinks they save up on hiring an extra hand 4 a clean up??? Wait till some fat ass law suit walks in and break his/her ass on some spilled mustered, then they clean`n`hire someone instantly... but it`ll be late (yet again)
Part of the reason is that now McDonald's cooks everything fresh, so they actually aren't as fast as they used to be. This means longer waiting times for customers and less time for staff to do other duties when it is really busy.
Hungry Jacks, BK in the US, started doing this so McDonald's had to follow suite.

Hey im sure they wer gonna clean it up cos i kno ppl who work at mcdonals and it looked pretty busy. so I just reckon they had evry intention of cleaning it up and did clean it up, and it wasnt filthy it was just wrappers.

Omigawd I thought originally they were talking about the one on the corner of Hindley Street and North Terrace coz every time I've been in this one,it's been pretty neat. Mind you with the way they work there and the amount of staff I'm not suprised it looks like this:( That's why I usually only eat at Hungry J's also coz their burgers actually have some taste to them as well. I was a McDonald's Manager in Belfast and we got a pub rush that trashed the place worse than this. 1000 pound hours and so many people that staff couldn't get to the rubbish until the customers left.

Part of the reason is that now McDonald's cooks everything fresh, so they actually aren't as fast as they used to be. This means longer waiting times for customers and less time for staff to do other duties when it is really busy.
Hungry Jacks, BK in the US, started doing this so McDonald's had to follow suite.

I work at a 24 hour maccas as a manager and seriously people are fuckn pigs they cant walk 5 steps to put their rubbish in the bin and with the amount of crew that are rostered you find it hard to get a person out to dining room to get it cleaned up.

I work here its not bad but being on hindley st you get you drunken idiots. were often hassled by the superviser about cleaning but whn its early sat morning often we can get hundreds of people at 1 time were an understaffed restaurant n people call in sick regualary the restaurant cant control peoples actions about where they place their rubbish but the restaurnt was understaffd and its difficult to get a staff member to go and clean up when it is so busy

The new McDonalds near Sydney Airport domestic terminals (next to Krispy Kreme) looked not unlike that a few weeks ago when I went there one evening. McDonalds are too greedy and won;t employ staff to clean their restaurants properly. Local councils should clamp down on them. Another classic example is the grounds behind the KFC at S P
